We study the moduli space of A/2 half-twisted gauged linear sigma models for NEF Fano toric varieties. Focusing on toric deformations of the tangent bundle, we describe the vacuum structure of many (0,2) theories, in particular identifying loci in parameter space with spontaneous supersymmetry breaking or divergent ground ring correlators. We find that the parameter space of such an A/2 theory and its ground ring is in general a moduli stack, and we show in examples that with suitable stability conditions it is possible to obtain a simple compactification of the moduli space of smooth A/2 theories.

The Bagger-Witten line bundle is a line bundle over moduli spaces of two-dimensional SCFTs, related to the Hodge line bundle of holomorphic top-forms on Calabi-Yau manifolds. It has recently been a subject of a number of conjectures, but concrete exa mples have proven elusive. In this paper we collect several results on this structure, including a proposal for an intrinsic geometric definition over moduli spaces of Calabi-Yau manifolds and some additional concrete examples. We also conjecture a new criterion for UV completion of four-dimensional supergravity theories in terms of properties of the Bagger-Witten line bundle.
We call a sheaf on an algebraic variety immaculate if it lacks any cohomology including the zero-th one, that is, if the derived version of the global section functor vanishes. Such sheaves are the basic tools when building exceptional sequences, inv estigating the diagonal property, or the toric Frobenius morphism. In the present paper we focus on line bundles on toric varieties. First, we present a possibility of understanding their cohomology in terms of their (generalized) momentum polytopes. Then we present a method to exhibit the entire locus of immaculate divisors within the class group. This will be applied to the cases of smooth toric varieties of Picard rank two and three and to those being given by splitting fans. The locus of immaculate line bundles contains several linear strata of varying dimensions. We introduce a notion of relative immaculacy with respect to certain contraction morphisms. This notion will be stronger than plain immaculacy and provides an explanation of some of these linear strata.

Given a rational homogeneous variety G/P where G is complex simple and of type ADE, we prove that all tangent bundles T_{G/P} are simple, meaning that their only endomorphisms are scalar multiples of the identity. This result combined with Hitchin-Ko bayashi correspondence implies stability of these tangent bundles with respect to the anticanonical polarization. Our main tool is the equivalence of categories between homogeneous vector bundles on G/P and finite dimensional representations of a given quiver with relations.
The moduli space of Higgs bundles has two stratifications. The Bialynicki-Birula stratification comes from the action of the non-zero complex numbers by multiplication on the Higgs field, and the Shatz stratification arises from the Harder-Narasimhan type of the vector bundle underlying a Higgs bundle. While these two stratification coincide in the case of rank two Higgs bundles, this is not the case in higher rank. In this paper we analyze the relation between the two stratifications for the moduli space of rank three Higgs bundles.
We study the proalgebraic space which is the inverse limit of all finite branched covers over a normal toric variety $X$ with branching set the invariant divisor under the action of $(mathbb{C}^*)^n$. This is the proalgebraic toric-completion $X_{mat hbb{Q}}$ of $X$. The ramification over the invariant divisor and the singular invariant divisors of $X$ impose topological constraints on the automorphisms of $X_{mathbb{Q}}$. Considering this proalgebraic space as the toric functor on the adelic complex plane multiplicative semigroup, we calculate its automorphic group. Moreover we show that its vector bundle category is the direct limit of the respective categories of the finite toric varieties coverings defining the proalgebraic toric-completion.
