We collect evidence in support of a conjecture of Griffiths, Green and Kerr on the arithmetic of extension classes of limiting mixed Hodge structures arising from semistable degenerations over a number field. After briefly summarizing how a result of Iritani implies this conjecture for a collection of hypergeometric Calabi-Yau threefold examples studied by Doran and Morgan, the authors investigate a sequence of (non-hypergeometric) examples in dimensions 1 through 6 arising from Katzs theory of the middle convolution. A crucial role is played by the Mumford-Tate group (of type G2) of the family of 6-folds, and the theory of boundary components of Mumford-Tate domains.

Following an article of Dettweiler and Sabbah, this article studies the behaviour of various Hodge invariants by middle additive convolution with a Kummer module. The main result gives the behaviour of the nearby cycle local Hodge numerical data at i nfinity. We also give expressions for Hodge numbers and degrees of some Hodge bundles without making the hypothesis of scalar monodromy at infinity, which generalizes the resultsof Dettweiler and Sabbah.
Using the mirror theorem [CCIT15], we give a Landau-Ginzburg mirror description for the big equivariant quantum cohomology of toric Deligne-Mumford stacks. More precisely, we prove that the big equivariant quantum D-module of a toric Deligne-Mumford stack is isomorphic to the Saito structure associated to the mirror Landau-Ginzburg potential. We give a GKZ-style presentation of the quantum D-module, and a combinatorial description of quantum cohomology as a quantum Stanley-Reisner ring. We establish the convergence of the mirror isomorphism and of quantum cohomology in the big and equivariant setting.
In this paper we study the $mathbb{C}^*$-fixed points in moduli spaces of Higgs bundles over a compact Riemann surface for a complex semisimple Lie group and its real forms. These fixed points are called Hodge bundles and correspond to complex variat ions of Hodge structure. We introduce a topological invariant for Hodge bundles that generalizes the Toledo invariant appearing for Hermitian Lie groups. A main result of this paper is a bound on this invariant which generalizes both the Milnor-Wood inequality of the Hermitian case and the Arakelov inequalities of classical variations of Hodge structure. When the generalized Toledo invariant is maximal, we establish rigidity results for the associated variations of Hodge structure which generalize known rigidity results for maximal Higgs bundles and their associated maximal representations in the Hermitian case.

We construct examples of smooth proper rigid-analytic varieties admitting formal model with projective special fiber and violating Hodge symmetry for cohomology in degrees $geq 3$. This answers negatively a question raised by Hansen and Li.

Using a relation due to Katz linking up additive and multiplicative convolutions, we make explicit the behaviour of some Hodge invariants by middle multiplicative convolution, following [DS13] and [Mar18a] in the additive case. Moreover, the main the orem gives a new proof of a result of Fedorov computing the Hodge invariants of hypergeometric equations.
