Heterostructures composed of ferromagnetic La0.7Sr0.3MnO3, ferromagnetic SrRuO3, and superconducting YBa2Cu3Ox were studied experimentally. Structures of composition Au/La0.7Sr0.3MnO3/SrRuO3/YBa2Cu3Ox were prepared by pulsed laser deposition, and their high quality was confirmed by X-ray diffraction and reflectometry. A non-collinear magnetic state of the heterostructures was revealed by means of SQUID magnetometry and polarized neutron reflectometry. We have further observed superconducting currents in mesa-structures fabricated by deposition of a second superconducting Nb layer on top of the heterostructure, followed by patterning with photolithography and ion-beam etching. Josephson effects observed in these mesa-structures can be explained by the penetration of a triplet component of the superconducting order parameter into the magnetic layers.

In this paper we study the ground state phase diagram of a one-dimensional t-J-U model away from half-filling. In the large-bandwidth limit and for ferromagnetic exchange with easy-plane anisotropy a phase with gapless charge and massive spin excitat ions, characterized by the coexistence of triplet superconducting and spin density wave instabilities is realized in the ground state. With increasing ferromagnetic exchange transitions into a ferrometallic and then a spin gapped triplet superconducting phase take place.
We report results of low-temperature thermodynamic and transport measurements of Pb_{1-x}Tl_{x}Te single crystals for Tl concentrations up to the solubility limit of approximately x = 1.5%. For all doped samples, we observe a low-temperature resistiv ity upturn that scales in magnitude with the Tl concentration. The temperature and field dependence of this upturn are consistent with a charge Kondo effect involving degenerate Tl valence states differing by two electrons, with a characteristic Kondo temperature T_K ~ 6 K. The observation of such an effect supports an electronic pairing mechanism for superconductivity in this material and may account for the anomalously high T_c values.
The spin-triplet state is most likely realized in uranium ferromagnetic superconductors, UGe2, URhGe, UCoGe. The microscopic coexistence of ferromagnetism and superconductivity means that the Cooper pair should be realized under the strong internal f ield due the ferromagnetism, leading to the spin-triplet state with equal spin pairing. The field-reinforced superconductivity, which is observed in all three materials when the ferromagnetic fluctuations are enhanced, is one of the strong evidences for the spin-triplet superconductivity. We present here the results of a newly discovered spin-triplet superconductor, UTe2, and compare those with the results of ferromagnetic superconductors. Although no magnetic order is found in UTe2, there are similarities between UTe2 and ferromagnetic superconductors. For example, the huge upper critical field exceeding the Pauli limit and the field-reentrant superconductivity for H || b-axis are observed in UTe2, URhGe and UCoGe. We also show the specific heat results on UTe2 in different quality samples, focusing on the residual density of states in the superconducting phase.
Spin-triplet superconductors are of extensive current interest because they can host topological state and Majorana ferimons important for quantum computation. The uranium based heavyfermion superconductor UTe$_2$ has been argued as a spin-triplet su perconductor similar to UGe$_2$, URhGe, and UCoGe, where the superconducting phase is near (or coexists with) a ferromagnetic (FM) instability and spin-triplet electron pairing is driven by FM spin fluctuations. Here we use neutron scattering to show that although UTe$_2$ exhibits no static magnetic order down to 0.3 K, its magnetism is dominated by incommensurate spin fluctuations near antiferromagnetic (AF) ordering wave vector and extends to at least 2.6 meV. We are able to understand the dominant incommensurate spin fluctuations of UTe$_2$ in terms of its electronic structure calculated using a combined density functional and dynamic mean field theory.
The Fe1+xTe phase diagram consists of two distinct magnetic structures with collinear order present at low interstitial iron concentrations and a helical phase at large values of x with these phases separated by a Lifshitz point. We use unpolarized s ingle crystal diffraction to confirm the helical phase for large interstitial iron concentrations and polarized single crystal diffraction to demonstrate the collinear order for the iron deficient side of the Fe1+xTe phase diagram. Polarized neutron inelastic scattering show that the fluctuations associated with this collinear order are predominately transverse at low energy transfers, consistent with a localized magnetic moment picture. We then apply neutron inelastic scattering and polarization analysis to investigate the dynamics and structure near the boundary between collinear and helical order in the Fe1+xTe phase diagram. We first show that the phase separating collinear and helical order is characterized by a spin-density wave with a single propagation wave vector of (~ 0.45, 0, 0.5). We do not observe harmonics or the presence of a charge density wave. The magnetic fluctuations associated with this wavevector are different from the collinear phase being strongly longitudinal in nature and correlated anisotropically in the (H,K) plane. The excitations preserve the C4 symmetry of the lattice, but display different widths in momentum along the two tetragonal directions at low energy transfers. While the low energy excitations and minimal magnetic phase diagram can be understood in terms of localized interactions, we suggest that the presence of density wave phase implies the importance of electronic and orbital properties.
