The kinematic dependences of the relative production rates, $f_{Lambda_b^0}/f_d$, of $Lambda_b^0$ baryons and $bar{B}^0$ mesons are measured using $Lambda_b^0 rightarrow Lambda_c^+ pi^-$ and $bar{B}^0 rightarrow D^+ pi^-$ decays. The measurements use proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1 fb$^{-1}$ at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV, recorded in the forward region with the LHCb experiment. The relative production rates are observed to depend on the transverse momentum, $p_T$, and pseudorapidity, $eta$, of the beauty hadron, in the studied kinematic region $1.5 < p_T < 40$ GeV/$c$ and $2 < eta < 5$. Using a previous LHCb measurement of $f_{Lambda_b^0}/f_d$ in semileptonic decays, the branching fraction $mathcal{B}(Lambda_b^0 rightarrow Lambda_c^+ pi^-) = Big( 4.30 pm 0.03 ,, ^{+0.12}_{-0.11} pm 0.26 pm 0.21 Big) times 10^{-3}$ is obtained, where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, the third is from the previous LHCb measurement of $f_{Lambda_b^0}/f_d$ and the fourth is due to the $bar{B}^0 rightarrow D^+ pi^-$ branching fraction. This is the most precise measurement of a $Lambda_b^0$ branching fraction to date.

The product of the $Lambda_b^0$ ($overline{B}^0$) differential production cross-section and the branching fraction of the decay $Lambda_b^0rightarrow J/psi pK^-$ ($overline{B}^0rightarrow J/psioverline{K}^*(892)^0$) is measured as a function of the b eauty hadron transverse momentum, $p_{rm T}$, and rapidity, $y$. The kinematic region of the measurements is $p_{rm T}<20~{rm GeV}/c$ and $2.0<y<4.5$. The measurements use a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3~{rm fb}^{-1}$ collected by the LHCb detector in $pp$ collisions at centre-of-mass energies $sqrt{s}=7~{rm TeV}$ in 2011 and $sqrt{s}=8~{rm TeV}$ in 2012. Based on previous LHCb results of the fragmentation fraction ratio, $f_{Lambda_B^0}/f_d$, the branching fraction of the decay $Lambda_b^0rightarrow J/psi pK^-$ is measured to be begin{equation*} mathcal{B}(Lambda_b^0rightarrow J/psi pK^-)= (3.17pm0.04pm0.07pm0.34^{+0.45}_{-0.28})times10^{-4}, end{equation*} where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, the third is due to the uncertainty on the branching fraction of the decay $overline{B}^0rightarrow J/psioverline{K}^*(892)^0$, and the fourth is due to the knowledge of $f_{Lambda_b^0}/f_d$. The sum of the asymmetries in the production and decay between $Lambda_b^0$ and $overline{Lambda}_b^0$ is also measured as a function of $p_{rm T}$ and $y$. The previously published branching fraction of $Lambda_b^0rightarrow J/psi ppi^-$, relative to that of $Lambda_b^0rightarrow J/psi pK^-$, is updated. The branching fractions of $Lambda_b^0rightarrow P_c^+(rightarrow J/psi p)K^-$ are determined.
The decays $ Lambda_b^0 to psi(2S)pK^-$ and $ Lambda_b^0 to J/psi pi^+ pi^- pK^-$ are observed in a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3fb$^{-1}$, collected in proton-proton collisions at 7 and 8TeV centre-of-mass energies by th e LHCb detector. The $psi(2S)$ mesons are reconstructed through the decay modes $psi(2S)tomu^+mu^-$ and $psi(2S)to J/psipi^+pi^-$. The branching fractions relative to that of $ Lambda_b^0 to J/psi pK^-$ are measured to be begin{eqnarray*} frac{mathcal{B}(Lambda_b^0 to psi(2S) pK^-)} {mathcal{B}(Lambda_b^0 to J/psi pK^-)} & = & (20.70pm 0.76pm 0.46pm 0.37)times10^{-2} ,, frac{mathcal{B}(Lambda_b^0 to J/psi pi^+ pi^- pK^-)} {mathcal{B}(Lambda_b^0 to J/psi pK^-)} & = & (20.86pm 0.96pm 1.34)times10^{-2} ,, end{eqnarray*} where the first uncertainties are statistical, the second are systematic and the third is related to the knowledge of $J/psi$ and $psi(2S)$ branching fractions. The mass of the $Lambda_b^0$ baryon is measured to be $$ M(Lambda_b^0) = 5619.65 pm 0.17 pm 0.17mathrm{MeV}/c^2,$$ where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic.
We have searched for the Cabibbo-suppressed decay $Lambda_c^+tophi ppi^0$ in $e^+e^-$ collisions using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 915 $rm fb^{-1}$. The data were collected by the Belle experiment at the KEKB $e^+e^-$ a symmetric-energy collider running at or near the $Upsilon(4S)$ and $Upsilon(5S)$ resonances. No significant signal is observed, and we set an upper limit on the branching fraction of $mathcal{B}(Lambda_c^+to phi ppi^0) <15.3times10^{-5}$ at 90% confidence level. The contribution for nonresonant $Lambda_c^+to K^+K^- ppi^0$ decays is found to be consistent with zero and the corresponding upper limit on its branching fraction is set to be $mathcal{B}(Lambda_c^+to K^+K^-ppi^0)_{rm NR} <6.3times10^{-5} $ at 90% confidence level. We also measure the branching fraction for the Cabibbo-favored decay $Lambda_c^+to K^-pi^+ppi^0$; the result is $mathcal{B}(Lambda_c^+to K^-pi^+ppi^0)= (4.42pm0.05, (rm stat.) pm 0.12, (rm syst.) pm 0.16, (mathcal{B}_{rm Norm}))%$, which is the most precise measurement to date. Finally, we have searched for an intermediate hidden-strangeness pentaquark decay $P^+_stophi p$. We see no evidence for this intermediate decay and set an upper limit on the product branching fraction of ${cal B}(Lambda_c^+to P^+_s pi^0)times {cal B}(P^+_stophi p) <8.3times 10^{-5}$ at 90% confidence level.
The decay $Lambda_b^0 to Lambda_c^+ p overline{p} pi^-$ is observed using $pp$ collision data collected with the LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies of $sqrt{s}=$ 7 and 8 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 $fb^{-1}$. The ratio o f branching fractions between $Lambda_b^0 to Lambda_c^+ p overline{p} pi^-$ and $Lambda_b^0 to Lambda_c^+ pi^-$ decays is measured to be begin{equation*} frac{mathcal{B}(Lambda_b^0 to Lambda_c^+ p overline{p}pi^-)}{mathcal{B}(Lambda_b^0 to Lambda_c^+ pi^-)} = 0.0540 pm 0.0023 pm 0.0032. end{equation*} Two resonant structures are observed in the $ Lambda_c^+ pi^-$ mass spectrum of the ${Lambda_b^0 to Lambda_c^+ poverline{p} pi^-}$ decays, corresponding to the $Sigma_c(2455)^0$ and $Sigma_c^{*}(2520)^0$ states. The ratios of branching fractions with respect to the decay $Lambda_b^0 to Lambda_c^+ p overline{p} pi^-$ are begin{align*} frac{mathcal{B}(Lambda_b^0 to Sigma_c^0 poverline{p})timesmathcal{B}(Sigma_c^0to Lambda_c^+ pi^-)}{mathcal{B}(Lambda_b^0 to Lambda_c^+ p overline{p}pi^-)} = 0.089pm0.015pm0.006, frac{mathcal{B}(Lambda_b^0 to Sigma_c^{*0} poverline{p})timesmathcal{B}(Sigma_c^{*0}to Lambda_c^+ pi^-)}{mathcal{B}(Lambda_b^0 to Lambda_c^+ p overline{p}pi^-)} = 0.119pm0.020pm0.014. end{align*} In all of the above results, the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The phase space is also examined for the presence of dibaryon resonances. No evidence for such resonances is found.
A search for charmless four-body decays of $Lambda_{b}^{0}$ and $Xi_{b}^{0}$ baryons with a proton and three charged mesons (either kaons or pions) in the final state is performed. The data sample used was recorded in 2011 and 2012 with the LHCb expe riment and corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb$^{-1}$. Six decay modes are observed, among which $Lambda_{b}^{0} to pK^{-}pi^{+}pi^{-}$, $Lambda_{b}^{0} to pK^{-}K^{+}K^{-}$, $Xi_{b}^{0} to pK^{-}pi^{+}pi^{-}$ and $Xi_{b}^{0} to pK^{-} pi^{+}K^{-}$ are established for the first time. Their branching fractions (including the ratio of hadronisation fractions in the case of the $Xi_{b}^{0}$ baryon) are determined relative to the $Lambda_{b}^{0} to Lambda_{c}^{+}pi^{-}$ decay.
