Motivated by the results presented in a companion paper, here we give a simple analytical expression for the matter n-point functions in the Zeldovich approximation (ZA) both in real and in redshift space (including the angular case). We present numerical results for the 2-dimensional redshift-space correlation function, as well as for the equilateral configuration for the real-space 3-point function. We compare those to the tree-level results. Our analysis is easily extendable to include Lagrangian bias, as well as higher-order perturbative corrections to the ZA. The results should be especially useful for modelling probes of large-scale structure in the linear regime, such as the Baryon Acoustic Oscillations. We make the numerical code used in this paper freely available.
As galaxy surveys begin to measure the imprint of baryonic acoustic oscillations (BAO) on large-scale structure at the sub-percent level, reconstruction techniques that reduce the contamination from nonlinear clustering become increasingly important.
A short overview is given on the development of our present paradigm of the large scale structure of the Universe with emphasis on the role of Ya. B. Zeldovich. Next we use the Sloan Digital Sky Survey data and show that the distribution of phases of
Weak lensing peak counts are a powerful statistical tool for constraining cosmological parameters. So far, this method has been applied only to surveys with relatively small areas, up to several hundred square degrees. As future surveys will provide
We report the first detection of a correlation between gravitational lensing by large scale structure and the thermal Sunyaev-Zeldovich (tSZ) effect. Using the mass map from the Canada France Hawaii Telescope Lensing Survey (CFHTLenS) and a newly-con
This is the second paper in a series where we propose a method of indirectly measuring large scale structure using information from small scale perturbations. The idea is to build a quadratic estimator from small scale modes that provides a map of st
