Here we present a systematic study of the effects of pressure on the superconducting and spin/charge density wave (SDW/CDW) transitions of Ba$_{1-x}$Na$_x$Ti$_2$Sb$_2$O (x = 0, 0.10, and 0.15) by means of resistivity measurements. For x = 0 and 0.10, external pressure results in a decease of the SDW/CDW transition temperature T$_c$; however, no measurable change is observed for the x = 0.15. The pressure effect on the superconducting transition temperature is different for all three samples. For BaTi$_2$Sb$_2$O (x=0), T$_c$ increases significantly from 1.2 K at zero pressure to $sim$ 2.9 K at 16.1 kbars. The 10 % Na-doped sample shows an initial T$_c$ increase up to 4.2 K with pressure which saturates at higher pressure values. For higher Na concentrations (x=0.15), T$_c$ continuously decreases with increasing pressure.

The effect of hydrostatic pressure and partial Na substitution on the normal-state properties and the superconducting transition temperature ($T_c$) of K$_{1-x}$Na$_x$Fe$_2$As$_2$ single crystals were investigated. It was found that a partial Na subs titution leads to a deviation from the standard $T^2$ Fermi-liquid behavior in the temperature dependence of the normal-state resistivity. It was demonstrated that non-Fermi liquid like behavior of the resistivity for K$_{1-x}$Na$_{x}$Fe$_2$As$_2$ and some KFe$_2$As$_2$ samples can be explained by disorder effect in the multiband system with rather different quasiparticle effective masses. Concerning the superconducting state our data support the presence of a shallow minimum around 2 GPa in the pressure dependence of $T_c$ for stoichiometric KFe$_2$As$_2$. The analysis of $T_c$ in the K$_{1-x}$Na$_{x}$Fe$_2$As$_2$ at pressures below 1.5 GPa showed, that the reduction of $T_c$ with Na substitution follows the Abrikosov-Gorkov law with the critical temperature $T_{c0}$ of the clean system (without pair-breaking) which linearly depends on the pressure. Our observations, also, suggest that $T_c$ of K$_{1-x}$Na$_x$Fe$_2$As$_2$ is nearly independent of the lattice compression produced by the Na substitution. Further, we theoretically analyzed the behavior of the band structure under pressure within the generalized gradient approximation (GGA). A qualitative agreement between the calculated and the recently in de Haas-van Alphen experiments [T. Terashima et al., Phys.Rev.B89, 134520(2014)] measured pressure dependencies of the Fermi-surface cross-sections has been found. These calculations, also, indicate that the observed minimum around 2~GPa in the pressure dependence of $T_c$ may occur without a change of the pairing symmetry.
We use neutron powder diffraction to study on the non-superconducting phases of ThFeAsN$_{1-x}$O$_x$ with $x=0.15, 0.6$. In our previous results on the superconducting phase ThFeAsN with $T_c=$ 30 K, no magnetic transition is observed by cooling down to 6 K, and possible oxygen occupancy at the nitrogen site is shown in the refinement(H. C. Mao emph{et al.}, EPL, 117, 57005 (2017)). Here, in the oxygen doped system ThFeAsN$_{1-x}$O$_x$, two superconducting region ($0leqslant x leqslant 0.1$ and $0.25leqslant x leqslant 0.55$) have been identified by transport experiments (B. Z. Li emph{et al.}, J. Phys.: Condens. Matter 30, 255602 (2018)). However, within the resolution of our neutron powder diffraction experiment, neither the intermediate doping $x=0.15$ nor the heavily overdoped compound $x= 0.6$ shows any magnetic order from 300 K to 4 K. Therefore, while it shares the common phenomenon of two superconducting domes as most of 1111-type iron-based superconductors, the magnetically ordered parent compound may not exist in this nitride family.
We report inelastic x-ray scattering measurements of the in-plane polarized transverse acoustic phonon mode propagating along $qparallel$[100] in various hole-doped compounds belonging to the 122 family of iron-based superconductors. The slope of the dispersion of this phonon mode is proportional to the square root of the shear modulus $C_{66}$ in the $q rightarrow 0$ limit and, hence, sensitive to the tetragonal-to-orthorhombic structural phase transition occurring in these compounds. In contrast to a recent report for Ba(Fe$_{0.94}$Co$_{0.06}$)$_2$As$_2$ [F. Weber et al., Phys. Rev. B 98, 014516 (2018)], we find qualitative agreement between values of $C_{66}$ deduced from our experiments and those derived from measurements of the Youngs modulus in Ba$_{1-x}$(K,Na)$_x$Fe$_2$As$_2$ at optimal doping. These results provide an upper limit of about 50 {AA} for the nematic correlation length for the optimally hole-doped compounds. Furthermore, we also studied compounds at lower doping levels exhibiting the orthorhombic magnetic phase, where $C_{66}$ is not accessible by volume probes, as well as the C4 tetragonal magnetic phase.investigated
The Ru doping effect on the Dirac cone states is investigated in iron pnictide superconductors Ba(Fe$_{1-x}$Ru$_x$As)$_2$ using the transverse magnetoresistance (MR) measurements as a function of temperature. The linear development of MR against magn etic field $B$ is observed for $x$ = 0 - 0.244 at low temperatures below the antiferromagnetic transition. The $B$-linear MR is interpreted in terms of the quantum limit of the Dirac cone states by using the model proposed by Abrikosov. An intriguing evidence is shown that the Dirac cone state persists on the electronic phase diagram where the antiferromagnetism and the superconductivity coexist.

We report an angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy study of the iron-based superconductor family, Ba$_{1-x}$Na$_x$Fe$_2$As$_2$. This system harbors the recently discovered double-Q magnetic order appearing in a reentrant C$_4$ phase deep within t he underdoped regime of the phase diagram that is otherwise dominated by the coupled nematic phase and collinear antiferromagnetic order. From a detailed temperature-dependence study, we identify the electronic response to the nematic phase in an orbital-dependent band shift that strictly follows the rotational symmetry of the lattice and disappears when the system restores C$_4$ symmetry in the low temperature phase. In addition, we report the observation of a distinct electronic reconstruction that cannot be explained by the known electronic orders in the system.
