For a spin-1/2 particle moving in a background magnetic field in noncommutative phase space, Dirac equation is solved when the particle is allowed to move off the plane that the magnetic field is perpendicular to. It is shown that the motion of the charged particle along the magnetic field has the effect to increase the magnetic field. In the classical limit, matrix elements of the velocity operator related to the probability give a clear physical picture: Along an effective magnetic field the mechanical momentum is conserved and the motion perpendicular to the effective magnetic field follows a round orbit. If using the velocity operator defined by the coordinate operators, the motion becomes complicated.

The Moyal *-deformed noncommutative version of Burgers equation is considered. Using the *-analog of the Cole-Hopf transformation, the linearization of the model in terms of the linear heat equation is found. Noncommutative q-deformations of shock so liton solutions and their interaction are described
Quantum heat cycles and quantum refrigerators are analyzed using various quantum systems as their working mediums. For example, to evaluate the efficiency and the work done of the Carnot cycle in the quantum regime, one can consider the harmonic osci llator as its working medium. For all these well-defined working substances (which are analyzed in commutative space structure), the efficiency of the engine is not up to the mark of the Carnot efficiency. So, one inevitable question arise, can one observe a catalytic effect on the efficiency of the engines and refrigerators when the space structure is changed? In this paper, two different working substance in non-commutative spacetime with relativistic and generalized uncertainty principle corrections has been considered for the analysis of the efficiency of the heat engine cycles. The efficiency of the quantum heat engine gets a boost for higher values of the non-commutative parameter with a harmonic oscillator as the working substance. In the case of the second working medium (one-dimensional infinite potential well), the efficiency shows a constant result in the non-commutative space structure.
Our familiar Newtons laws allow determination of both position and velocity of any object precisely. Early nineteenth century saw the birth of quantum mechanics where all measurements must obey Heisenbergs uncertainty principle. Basically, we cannot simultaneously measure with precision, both position and momentum of particles in the microscopic atomic world. A natural extension will be to assume that space becomes fuzzy as we approach the study of early universe. That is, all the components of position cannot be simultaneously measured with precision. Such a space is called non-commutative space. In this article, we study quantum mechanics of hydrogen atom on such a fuzzy space. Particularly, we highlight expected corrections to the hydrogen atom energy spectrum due to non-commutative space.
The exact bound state solutions of the Dirac-Pauli equation are studied for an appropriate position-dependent mass function by using the Nikiforov-Uvarov method. For a central electric field having a shifted inverse linear term, all two kinds of solu tions for bound states are obtained in closed forms.

The aim of this paper is to study, in dimensions 2 and 3, the pure-power non-linear Schrodinger equation with an external uniform magnetic field included. In particular, we derive a general criteria on the initial data and the power of the non-linear ity so that the corresponding solution blows up in finite time, and we show that the time for blow up to occur decreases as the strength of the magnetic field increases. In addition, we also discuss some observations about Strichartz estimates in 2 dimensions for the Mehler kernel, as well as similar blow-up results for the non-linear Pauli equation.
