The investigations of low-temperature heat capacity in pure and impurity doped high temperature superconductors have been performed by high-precision pulsed differential scanning calorimeter, providing the measurements of heat capacities under the thermodynamically equilibrium conditions in contrast to commonly used differential scanning calorimeters. The anomaly of low-temperature heat capacity of a wide peak form related with impurity induced static spin correlations was observed.
We use NMR techniques to investigate the magnetic properties of BaCo2As2 single crystals, the non-superconducting end member of the Co-substituted iron-pnictide high Tc superconductor Ba(Fe1-xCox)2As2 with x = 1. We present 75As NMR evidence for enha
We study experimentally nanoscale Josephson junctions and Josephson spin-valves containing strong Ni ferromagnets. We observe that in contrast to junctions, spin valves with the same geometry exhibit anomalous Ic(H) patterns with two peaks separated
Magnetic correlations in the paramagnetic phase of CaFe2As2 (T_N=172 K) have been examined by means of inelastic neutron scattering from 180 K (~ 1.05 T_N) up to 300 K (~1.8 T_N). Despite the first-order nature of the magnetic ordering, strong but sh
Understanding the microscopic origins of electronic phases in high-transition temperature (high-Tc) superconductors is important for elucidating the mechanism of superconductivity. In the paramagnetic tetragonal phase of BaFe2-xTxAs2 (where T is Co o
The theory of superconductor-ferromagnet (S-F) heterostructures with two ferromagnetic layers predicts the generation of a long-range, odd-in-frequency triplet pairing at non-collinear alignment (NCA) of the magnetizations of the F-layers. This tripl
