We describe several studies to measure the charged track reconstruction efficiency and asymmetry of the BaBar detector. The first two studies measure the tracking efficiency of a charged particle using $tau$ and initial state radiation decays. The third uses the $tau$ decays to study the asymmetry in tracking, the fourth measures the tracking efficiency for low momentum tracks, and the last measures the reconstruction efficiency of $K_S^0$ particles. The first section also examines the stability of the measurements vs BaBar running periods.

The determination of track reconstruction efficiencies at LHCb using $J/psirightarrowmu^{+}mu^{-}$ decays is presented. Efficiencies above $95%$ are found for the data taking periods in 2010, 2011, and 2012. The ratio of the track reconstruction effi ciency of muons in data and simulation is compatible with unity and measured with an uncertainty of $0.8,%$ for data taking in 2010, and at a precision of $0.4,%$ for data taking in 2011 and 2012. For hadrons an additional $1.4,%$ uncertainty due to material interactions is assumed. This result is crucial for accurate cross section and branching fraction measurements in LHCb.
This paper describes the track-finding algorithm that is used for event reconstruction in the Belle II experiment operating at the SuperKEKB B-factory in Tsukuba, Japan. The algorithm is designed to balance the requirements of a high efficiency to fi nd charged particles with a good track parameter resolution, a low rate of spurious tracks, and a reasonable demand on CPU resources. The software is implemented in a flexible, modular manner and employs a diverse selection of global and local track-finding algorithms to achieve an optimal performance.

We present recent results on charmonium and charmonium-like states from the BaBar B-factory located at the PEP-II asymmetric energy $e^{+}e^{-}$ storage ring at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory.

One of the most intriguing puzzles in hadron spectroscopy are the numerous charmonium-like states observed in the last decade, including charged states that are manifestly exotic. The $BABAR$ experiment has extensively studied those in B meson decays , initial state radiation processes and two photon reactions. The study of the process $B rightarrow J/psi phi K$, with a search for the resonant states X(4140) and X(4270) in their decays to $J/psi phi$, will be highlighted. The recent results of the Dalitz analysis of $eta_c$ to 3 pseudoscalar mesons, via 2-photon interactions, will be presented in this report

We present a review of recent results from BaBar experiment. BaBar detector has collected about 256 millions of $Bbar B$ events at PEP-II, the asymmetric $e^+e^-$ collider located at SLAC running at the $Upsilon(4S)$ resonance. We have studied CP vio lation in B mesons, observing the first evidence of direct CP violation in B meson decays and measured CP asymmetries relevant for the determination of the angles of the CKM Unitarity Triangle. BaBar physics program covers many other topics, including measurements of CKM matrix elements, charm physics, and search for new physics processes.
