Inspired in previous works of Xiangdong Ji, published in PRL and PRD in 1995, we worked out an alternative way to separate within the structure of QCD, the hadron masses into contributions of quark and gluon kinetic and potential energies, quark masses and the trace anomaly. With respect to the nucleon mass the present results are between the two approximations developed by Ji. We also developed three approximations for the separation of the pion mass, which is also compared with Ji results. With the help of the quark condensate relation obtained by Nassif and Silva in 2006, we were able to separate the quark energy into its kinetic and potential parts.

Achieving a precise description of the internal structure of hadrons is a hard task, since there are several bottlenecks to obtain theoretical predictions starting from first principles. In order to complement the highly-accurate experiments, it is n ecessary to use ingenious strategies to impose constraints from the theory side. In this article, we describe how photons can be used to unveil the internal structure of hadrons. Using up-to-date PDFs and FFs, we explore how to describe NLO QCD plus LO QED corrections to hadron plus photon production at colliders.

The paper examines the geometrical properties of a six-dimensional Kaluza-Klein type model. They may have an impact on the model of the structure of a neutron and its excited states in the realm of one particle physics. The statistical reason for the six-dimensionality and the stability of the solution is given. The derivation of the weak limit approximation of the general wave mechanical (quantum mechanical) approach, defined in the context of losing its self-consistency (here gravitational), is presented. The non self-consistent case for the Klein-Gordon equation is defined. The derivation of the energy of states and the analysis of the spin origin of the analyzed fields configuration is presented as the manifestation of both the geometry of the internal two-dimensional space and kinematics of fields inside it. The problem of the departure from the (gravitational) self-consistent calculations of the metric tensor and of other fields of the configuration is discussed. The implementation of the model for the description of a neutron and its excited states, including their spins and energies, is given. The informational reason for the existence of the internal extra space dimensions is proposed.
We study the mass/energy structure of the bound state of hadrons in two-dimensional quantum chromodynamics in the large number of color limit (t Hooft model). We analyze separately the contributions from the traceless and trace part of the energy-mom entum tensor, and show that the masses are related to the matrix elements of the scalar charge and Coulomb energy. We derive the light-front sum rules for the scalar charge and Coulomb energy, expressed in terms of the light-front wave functions, and find that they are regular at $x=0$ without the delta function contribution. We also consider the result for the massless Goldstone boson, as well as the structure of the gravitational form factors of the bound meson states.

We briefly review the key aspect of the QCD instanton vacuum in relation to the quantum breaking of conformal symmetry and the trace anomaly. We use Ji$^prime s$ invariant mass decomposition of the energy momentum tensor together with the trace anoma ly, to discuss the mass budget of the nucleon and pion in the QCD instanton vacuum. A measure of the gluon condensate in the nucleon, is a measure of the compressibility of the QCD instanton vacuum as a dilute topological liquid.

We make an estimation of the mass of the universe by considering the behavior of a very special test particle when described both by using the Newtonian mechanics as well through a scalar field theory of the Yukawa kind. Naturally, Hubbles law is also taken in account.
