The process ee-->ZH allows to measure the Higgs boson in the recoil mass spectrum against the Z boson without any assumptions on the Higgs boson decay. We performed a full simulation and reconstruction of ee-->ZH using the MOKKA and MARLIN packages describing the LDC detector. The Z is reconstructed from its decays into electrons and muons. The mass of the Higgs boson is set to 120 GeV. Assuming a centre-of-mass energy of 250 GeV and an integrated luminosity of 50/fb the Higgs boson mass and the Higgs-strahlung cross section can be measured with a precision of 120 MeV and 9%, respectively.
This paper presents a full simulation study of the measurement of the production cross section ($sigma_{mathrm{ZH}}$) of the Higgsstrahlung process $mathrm{e^{+}e^{-}rightarrow ZH}$ and the Higgs boson mass ($M_{mathrm{H}}$) at the International Line
The Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC) is a future Higgs factory proposed by the Chinese high energy physics community. It will operate at a center-of-mass energy of 240-250 GeV. The CEPC will accumulate an integrated luminosity of 5 ab$^{rm{
We present results from CDF and D0 on direct searches for high mass standard model (SM) Higgs boson (H) in ppbar collisions at the Fermilab Tevatron at sqrt(s) = 1.96 TeV. Compared to previous Higgs boson Tevatron combinations, more data and new chan
We study the soft and collinear (SV) contributions to inclusive Higgs-boson production in gluon-gluon fusion at four loops. Using recent progress for the quark and gluon form factors and Mellin moments of splitting functions, we are able to complete
The potential to discover a Standard-Model-like Higgs boson at the LHC in the mass range from 150-180 GeV, decaying into a pair of W bosons with subsequent leptonic decays, has been established during the last 10 years. Assuming that such a signal wi
