In the framework of effective field theory we show that, at two-loop order, the mass and width of the Delta resonance defined via the (relativistic) Breit-Wigner parametrization both depend on the choice of field variables. In contrast, the complex-valued position of the pole of the propagator is independent of this choice.
We discuss the pole mass and the width of the $Delta(1232)$ resonance to third order in chiral effective field theory. In our calculation we choose the complex-mass renormalization scheme (CMS) and show that the CMS provides a consistent power-counti
A method suitable for extracting resonance parameters of unstable baryons in lattice QCD is examined. The method is applied to the strong decay of the Delta to a pion-nucleon state, extracting the pi-N - Delta coupling constant and Delta decay width.
We studied a method of measuring upper critical field (H$_{c2}$) of a superconductor based on the width of $Delta$H = $Delta$B region, which appears in the superconductor that volume defects are many and dominant. Here we present the basic concept an
The Daya Bay Collaboration responds to comments posted by S. Parke and R. Zukanovich Funchal regarding our use of Delta(m^2_ee).
Using 13.4 $fb^{-1}$ of data collected with the CLEO detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring, we have observed 300 events for the two-photon production of ground-state pseudo-scalar charmonium in the decay $eta_c$ -> $K_S K^{mp} pi^{pm}$. We ha
