The properties of the strongly intensive variable characterizing correlations between the number of particles in two separated rapidity interval in pp interactions at LHC energies are studied in the framework of the string fusion model. We perform the MC simulations of string distributions in the impact parameter plane to take into account the experimental conditions of pp collisions. We account the string fusion processes, leading to the formation of string clusters, embedding a finite lattice (a grid) in the impact parameter plane. As a result, we found the dependence of this variable both on the distance between the centers of the observation windows and their width for the minbias pp collisions at several initial energies. Analyzing these dependencies we can extract the important information on the properties of string clusters. We show that in pp collisions at LHC energies the string fusion effects have a significant impact on the behavior of this strongly intensive variable. The role of these effects is increasing with the initial energy and centrality of collisions. In particular, we found that the increase of this variable with initial energy takes place due to the growth of the portion of the fused string clusters in string configurations arising in pp interactions.

In this article, we will present a systematic analysis of transverse momentum spectra of the strange hadron in different multiplicity events produced in pp collision at $sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV, pPb collision at $sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV and PbPb collision at $sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV. The differential freeze out scenario of strange hadron $K^{0}_{s}$ assumed while analyzing the data using a Tsallis distribution which is modified to include transverse flow. The $p_{T}$ distributions of strange hadron in different systems are characterized in terms of the parameters namely, Tsallis temperature ($T$), power ($n$) and average transverse flow velocity ($beta$).
The Quark Gluon String Model (QGSM) reproduces well the global characteristics of the $pp$ collisions at RHIC and LHC, e.g., the pseudorapidity and transverse momenta distributions at different centralities. The main goal of this work is to employ the Monte Carlo QGSM for description of femtoscopic characteristics in $pp$ collisions at RHIC and LHC. The study is concentrated on the low multiplicity and multiplicity averaged events, where no collective effects are expected. The different procedures for fitting the one-dimensional correlation functions of pions are studied and compared with the space-time distributions extracted directly from the model. Particularly, it is shown that the double Gaussian fit reveals the contributions coming separately from resonances and from directly produced particles. The comparison of model results with the experimental data favors decrease of particle formation time with rising collision energy.
It has been observed that the yields of strange and multi-strange hadrons relative to pion increase significantly with the event charged-particle multiplicity. We notice from experimental data that yield ratios between non-strange hadrons, like p/$pi$ or hadrons of same strange content, like $Lambda$/K$_s^0$, show similar enhancement. We have studied this behavior within the ambit of a parton model (EPOS3) and A Multi-Phase Transport (AMPT) model in pp and p-Pb collisions at LHC energies. We investigate model predictions of yields and yield ratios of different identified hadron productions as a function of charged-particle multiplicity and compare them with published ALICE results. The string melti
We have performed a systematic study of $J/psi$ and $psi(2S)$ production in $p-p$ collisions at different LHC energies and at different rapidities using the leading order (LO) non-relativistic QCD (NRQCD) model of heavy quarkonium production. We have included the contributions from $chi_{cJ}$ ($J$ = 0, 1, 2) and $psi(2S)$ decays to $J/psi$. The calculated values have been compared with the available data from the four experiments at LHC namely, ALICE, ATLAS, CMS and LHCb. In case of ALICE, inclusive $J/psi$ and $psi(2S)$ cross-sections have been calculated by including the feed-down from $B$ meson using Fixed-Order Next-to-Leading Logarithm (FONLL) formalism. It is found that all the experimental cross-sections are well reproduced for $p_T >$ 4 GeV within the theoretical uncertainties arising due to the choice of the factorization scale. We also predict the transverse momentum distributions of $J/psi$ and $psi(2S)$ both for the direct and feed-down processes at the upcoming LHC energies of $sqrt{s} =$ 5.1 TeV and 13 TeV for the year 2015.
Phenomenological Tsallis fits to the CMS, ATLAS, and ALICE transverse momentum spectra of hadrons for pp collisions at LHC were recently found to extend over a large range of the transverse momentum. We investigate whether the few degrees of freedom in the Tsallis parametrization may arise from the relativistic parton-parton hard-scattering and related processes. The effects of the multiple hard-scattering and parton showering processes on the power law are discussed. We find empirically that whereas the transverse spectra of both hadrons and jets exhibit power-law behavior of 1/pT^n at high pT, the power indices n for hadrons are systematically greater than those for jets, for which n~4-5.
