Thermodynamic properties of a system of interacting bosonic particles and antiparticles at finite temperatures are studied within the framework of a thermodynamically consistent mean field model. The mean field contains both attractive and repulsive terms. Self-consistency relations between the mean field and thermodynamic functions are derived. We assume a conservation of the isospin density for all temperatures. It is shown that, independently of the strength of the attractive mean field, at the critical temperature $T_c$ the system undergoes the phase transition of second order to the Bose-Einstein condensate, which exists in the temperature interval $0 le T le T_c$. It is obtained that the condensation represents a discontinuity of the derivative of the specific heat at $T = T_c$ and condensate occurs only for the component that has a higher particle-number density in the particle-antiparticle system.

The hadronic correlation among particle-antiparticle pairs was highlighted in the late 1990s, culminating with the demonstration that it should exist if the masses of the hadrons were modified in the hot and dense medium formed in high energy heavy ion collisions. They were called Back-to-Back Correlations (BBC) of particle-antiparticle pairs, also known as squeezed correlations. However, even though they are well-established theoretically, such hadronic correlations have not yet been experimentally discovered. Expecting to compel the experimentalists to search for this effect, we suggest here a clear way to look for the BBC signal, by constructing the squeezed correlation function of phi-phi and K+K- pairs at RHIC energies, plotted in terms of the average momentum of the pair, K12=(k1+k2)/2, inspired by procedures adopted in Hanbury-Brown & Twiss (HBT) correlations.

Taking a two interacting scalar toy model with interaction term $gphichi^2$, we study the production of $chi$-particles coming from the decay of an asymptotic and highly occupied beam of $phi$-particles. We perform a non-perturbative analysis coming from parametric resonant instabilities and investigate the possibility that massive $chi$-particles are produced from decays of massless $phi$-particles from the beam. Although this process is not present in a perturbative analysis, our non perturbative approach allows it to happen under certain conditions. For a momentum $p$ of the beam particles and a mass $m_chi$ of the produced ones, we find that the decay is allowed if the energy density of the beam exceeds the instability threshold $p^2mc^4/(2g^2)$. We also provide an analytical expression for the spontaneous decay rate at the earliest time.
The study of topological effects in physics is a hot area, and only recently researchers were able to address the important issues of topological properties of interacting quantum systems. But it is still a great challenge to describe multi-particle and interaction effects. Here, we introduce multi-particle Wannier states for interacting systems with co-translational symmetry. We reveal how the shift of multi-particle Wannier state relates to the multi-particle Chern number, and study the two-boson Thouless pumping in an interacting Rice-Mele model. In addition to the bound-state Thouless pumping in which two bosons move unidirectionally as a whole, we find topologically resonant tunneling in which two bosons move unidirectionally, one by the other, provided the neighboring-well potential bias matches the interaction energy. Our work creates a new paradigm for multi-particle topological effects and lays a cornerstone for detecting interacting topological states.

We study the influence of the in-medium mass difference between boson and antiboson on their spectra. The in-medium mass difference may lead to a difference between the transverse momentum spectra of boson and antiboson. This effect increases with the increasing in-medium mass difference between boson and antiboson. The difference between the transverse momentum spectra of boson and antiboson increases with the increasing expanding velocity of the source and decreases with the increasing transverse momentum in large transverse mass region (mT > 1:6 GeV). The interactions between the hadron and the medium may increase with the increasing temperature of the medium and the higher freeze-out temperature may lead to a larger mass difference between boson and antiboson, and may give rise to a larger difference between the transverse momentum spectra of boson and antiboson for higher freeze-out temperature.
The quon algebra describes particles, ``quons, that are neither fermions nor bosons, using a label $q$ that parametrizes a smooth interpolation between bosons ($q = 1$) and fermions ($q = -1$). Understanding the relation of quons on the one side and bosons or fermions on the other can shed light on the different properties of these two kinds of operators and the statistics which they carry. In particular, local bilinear observables can be constructed from bosons and fermions, but not from quons. In this paper we construct bosons and fermions from quon operators. For bosons, our construction works for $-1 leq q leq 1$. The case $q=-1$ is paradoxical, since that case makes a boson out of fermions, which would seem to be impossible. None the less, when the limit $q to -1$ is taken from above, the construction works. For fermions, the analogous construction works for $-1 leq q leq 1$, which includes the paradoxical case $q=1$.
