We propose a new generalisation of the Jordanian twist (building on the previous idea from [Meljanac S., Meljanac D., Pachol A., Pikutic D., J. Phys. A: Math. Theor. 50 (2017), 265201, 11 pages]). Obtained this way, the family of the Jordanian twists allows for interpolation between two simple Jordanian twists. This new version of the twist provides an example of a new type of star product and the realization for noncommutative coordinates. Real forms of new Jordanian deformations are also discussed. Exponential formulae, used to obtain coproducts and star products, are presented with details.

In this work we elaborate on a previous result relating the partition function of the six-vertex model with domain-wall boundary conditions to eigenvalues of a transfer matrix. More precisely, we express the aforementioned partition function as a determinant of a matrix with entries being eigenvalues of the anti-periodic six-vertex models transfer matrix.

We consider $kappa$-deformed relativistic quantum phase space and possible implementations of the Lorentz algebra. There are two ways of performing such implementations. One is a simple extension where the Poincare algebra is unaltered, while the other is a general extension where the Poincare algebra is deformed. As an example we fix the Jordanian twist and the corresponding realization of noncommutative coordinates, coproduct of momenta and addition of momenta. An extension with a one-parameter family of realizations of the Lorentz generators, dilatation and momenta closing the Poincare-Weyl algebra is considered. The corresponding physical interpretation depends on the way the Lorentz algebra is implemented in phase space. We show how the spectrum of the relativistic hydrogen atom depends on the realization of the generators of the Poincare-Weyl algebra.

We describe all groups that can be generated by two twists along spherical sequences in an enhanced triangulated category. It will be shown that with one exception such a group is isomorphic to an abelian group generated by not more than two elements, the free group on two generators or the braid group of one of the types $A_2$, $B_2$ and $G_2$ factorized by a central subgroup. The last mentioned subgroup can be nontrivial only if some specific linear relation between length and sphericity holds. The mentioned exception can occur when one has two spherical sequences of length $3$ and sphericity $2$. In this case the group generated by the corresponding two spherical twists can be isomorphic to the nontrivial central extension of the symmetric group on three elements by the infinite cyclic group. Also we will apply this result to give a presentation of the derived Picard group of selfinjective algebras of the type $D_4$ with torsion $3$ by generators and relations.
We propose and verify experimentally a new concept for achieving strong nonlinear coupling between the electromagnetic and elastic properties in metamaterials. This coupling is provided through a novel degree of freedom in metamaterial design: internal rotation within structural elements. Our meta-atoms have high sensitivity to electromagnetic wave power, and the elastic and electromagnetic properties can be independently designed to optimise the response. We demonstrate a rich range of nonlinear phenomena including self-tuning and bistability, and provide a comprehensive experimental demonstration of the predicted effects.
Associated to a Mukai flop X ---> X is on the one hand a sequence of equivalences D(X) -> D(X), due to Kawamata and Namikawa, and on the other hand a sequence of autoequivalences of D(X), due to Huybrechts and Thomas. We work out a complete picture of the relationship between the two. We do the same for standard flops, relating Bondal and Orlovs derived equivalences to spherical twists, extending a well-known story for the Atiyah flop to higher dimensions.
