In this note, we investigate relations between tree-level off-shell currents in nonlinear sigma model. Under Cayley parametrization, all odd-point currents vanish. We propose and prove a generalized $U(1)$ identity for even-point currents. The off-shell $U(1)$ identity given in [1] is a special case of the generalized identity studied in this note. The on-shell limit of this identity is equivalent with the on-shell KK relation. Thus this relation provides the full off-shell correspondence of tree-level KK relation in nonlinear sigma model.

We develop superspace techniques to construct general off-shell N=1,2,3,4 superconformal sigma-models in three space-time dimensions. The most general N=3 and N=4 superconformal sigma-models are constructed in terms of N=2 chiral superfields. Several superspace proofs of the folklore statement that N=3 supersymmetry implies N=4 are presented both in the on-shell and off-shell settings. We also elaborate on (super)twistor realisations for (super)manifolds on which the three-dimensional N-extended superconformal groups act transitively and which include Minkowski space as a subspace.

In this paper, we investigate tree-level scattering amplitude relations in $U(N)$ non-linear sigma model. We use Cayley parametrization. As was shown in the recent works [23,24] both on-shell amplitudes and off-shell currents with odd points have to vanish under Cayley parametrization. We prove the off-shell $U(1)$ identity and fundamental BCJ relation for even-point currents. By taking the on-shell limits of the off-shell relations, we show that the color-ordered tree amplitudes with even points satisfy $U(1)$-decoupling identity and fundamental BCJ relation, which have the same formations within Yang-Mills theory. We further state that all the on-shell general KK, BCJ relations as well as the minimal-basis expansion are also satisfied by color-ordered tree amplitudes. As a consequence of the relations among color-ordered amplitudes, the total $2m$-point tree amplitudes satisfy DDM form of color decomposition as well as KLT relation.
We show that it is possible to distinguish between different off-shell completions of supergravity at the on-shell level. We focus on the comparison of the ``new minimal formulation of off-shell four-dimensional N=1 supergravity with the ``old minimal formulation. We show that there are 3-manifolds which admit supersymmetric compactifications in the new-minimal formulation but which do not admit supersymmetric compactifications in other formulations. Moreover, on manifolds with boundary the new-minimal formulation admits ``singleton modes which are absent in other formulations.
We continue the search for rules that govern when off-shell 4D, $cal N$ = 1 supermultiplets can be combined to form off-shell 4D, $cal N$ = 2 supermultiplets. We study the ${mathbb S}_8$ permutations and Height Yielding Matrix Numbers (HYMN) embedded within the adinkras that correspond to these putative 4D, $cal N$ = 2 supermultiplets off-shell supermultiplets. Even though the HYMN definition was designed to distinguish between the raising and lowering of nodes in one dimensional valises supermultiplets, they are shown to accurately select out which combinations of off-shell 4D, $cal N$ = 1 supermultiplets correspond to off-shell 4D, $cal N$ = 2 supermultiplets. Only the combinations of the chiral + vector and chiral + tensor are found to have valises in the same class. This is consistent with the well known structure of 4D, $cal N$ = 2 supermultiplets.
We describe the conditions for extra supersymmetry in N=(2,2) supersymmetric nonlinear sigma models written in terms of semichiral superfields. We find that some of these models have additional off-shell supersymmetry. The (4,4) supersymmetry introduces geometrical structures on the target-space which are conveniently described in terms of Yano f-structures and Magri-Morosi concomitants. On-shell, we relate the new structures to the known bi-hypercomplex structures.
