We show that a semi-classical polymerization of the interior of Schwarzschild black holes gives rise to a tantalizing candidate for a non-singular, single horizon black hole spacetime. The exterior has non-zero quantum stress energy but closely approximates the classical spacetime for macroscopic black holes. The interior exhibits a bounce at a microscopic scale and then expands indefinitely to a Kantowski-Sachs spacetime. Polymerization therefore removes the singularity and produces a scenario reminiscent of past proposals for universe creation via quantum effects inside a black hole.

In this paper, we first analyze the horizon structure of the acoustic charged black hole in curved spacetime, and then study its acoustic shadow as well as the near-horizon characteristics including the quasi-normal modes (QNM) frequencies and analogue Hawking radiation. We find that the radius of the acoustic shadow for acoustic charged black hole is larger than that for Reissner-Nordstr{o}m (RN) black hole, and both of them are suppressed by increasing the black hole charge because their related outer horizons become smaller. Then the QNM frequencies under scalar field perturbation and its eikonal limit are computed via numeric method and acoustic shadow, respectively. We find that the acoustic charged black hole is stable under the perturbation and the QNM frequencies are much weaker than that for the astrophysical black hole. Moreover, as the tuning parameter increases, the perturbation oscillates more milder and its damping time becomes longer, while as the charge increases, the oscillation is enhanced slightly and the perturbation decays a little faster which is different from that in RN black hole. Finally, we numerically study the analogue Hawking radiation. We find that the grey-body factor and energy emission rate are suppressed by the angular number and the charge, but they do not monotonously depend on the tuning parameter in the acoustic charged black hole. The behavior of the energy emission rate affected by the parameters could be explained by the dependent behavior of the Hawking temperature. We expect that our results could shed light to the study of black holes in both theoretical and experimental perspectives.
In this paper we have implemented quantum corrections for the Schwarzschild black hole metric using the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP) in order to investigate the scattering process. We mainly compute, at the low energy limit, the differential scattering and absorption cross section by using the partial wave method. We determine the phase shift analytically and verify that these quantities are modified by the GUP. We found that due to the quantum corrections from the GUP the absorption is not zero as the mass parameter goes to zero. A numerical analysis has also been performed for arbitrary frequencies.
In this work we show that single horizon black hole behaves as a laser. It is in many aspects conceptually analogous to Corley and Jacobson work on the two horizon black hole laser. We started by proposition that circumference of the black hole horizon holds the natural (integer) quantum number of corresponding reduced Comptons wave length of some boson systems in great canonical ensemble. For macroscopic black hole ground state is practically totally occupied while other states are practically totally unoccupied which is a typical Bose condensation. Number of the systems in this condensate represents black hole entropy. For microscopic black hole few lowest energy levels are occupied with almost equivalent population (with negative chemical potential) while all other energy states (with positive chemical potential) are practically unoccupied. It implies that here not only spontaneous but also stimulated emission of radiation comparable with spontaneous emission occurs. By Hawking evaporation any macroscopic black hole turns out in a microscopic black hole that yields, in a significant degree, coherent stimulated emission of the radiation. It implies that by total black hole evaporation there is no decoherence, i.e. information loss. Finally, a mass duality characteristic for suggested black hole model corresponding to string T-duality is discussed.
The quantum scenario concerning Hawking radiation, gives us a precious clue that a black hole has its temperature directly connected to its area gravity and that its entropy is proportional to the horizon area. These results have shown that there exist a deep association between thermodynamics and gravity. The recently introduced Barrow formulation of back holes entropy, influenced by the spacetime geometry, shows the quantum fluctuations effects through Barrow exponent, $Delta$, where $Delta=0$ represents the usual spacetime and its maximum value, $Delta=1$, characterizes a fractal spacetime. The quantum fluctuations are responsible for such fractality. Loop quantum gravity approach provided the logarithmic corrections to the entropy. This correction arises from quantum and thermal equilibrium fluctuations. In this paper we have analyzed the nonextensive thermodynamical effects of the quantum fluctuations upon the geometry of a Barrow black hole. We discussed the Tsallis formulation of this logarithmically corrected Barrow entropy to construct the equipartition law. Besides, we obtained a master equation that provides the equipartition law for any value of the Tsallis $q$-parameter and we analyzed several different scenarios. After that, the heat capacity were calculated and the thermal stability analysis was carried out as a function of the main parameters, namely, one of the so-called pre-factors, $q$ and $Delta$.
In an ongoing effort to explore quantum effects on the interior geometry of black holes, we explicitly compute the semiclassical flux components $leftlangle T_{uu}rightrangle _{ren}$ and $leftlangle T_{vv}rightrangle _{ren}$ ($u$ and $v$ being the standard Eddington coordinates) of the renormalized stress-energy tensor for a minimally-coupled massless quantum scalar field, in the vicinity of the inner horizon (IH) of a Reissner-Nordstrom black hole. These two flux components seem to dominate the effect of backreaction in the IH vicinity; and furthermore, their regularization procedure reveals remarkable simplicity. We consider the Hartle-Hawking and Unruh quantum states, the latter corresponding to an evaporating black hole. In both quantum states, we compute $leftlangle T_{uu}rightrangle _{ren}$ and $leftlangle T_{vv}rightrangle _{ren}$ in the IH vicinity for a wide range of $Q/M$ values. We find that both $leftlangle T_{uu}rightrangle _{ren}$ and $leftlangle T_{vv}rightrangle _{ren}$ attain finite asymptotic values at the IH. Depending on $Q/M$, these asymptotic values are found to be either positive or negative (or vanishing in-between). Note that having a nonvanishing $leftlangle T_{vv}rightrangle _{ren}$ at the IH implies the formation of a curvature singularity on its ingoing section, the Cauchy horizon. Motivated by these findings, we also take initial steps in the exploration of the backreaction effect of these semiclassical fluxes on the near-IH geometry.
