For the root system of type $A$ we introduce and study a certain extension of the quadratic algebra invented by S. Fomin and the first author, to construct a model for the equivariant cohomology ring of the corresponding flag variety. As an application of our construction we describe a generalization of the equivariant Pieri rule for double Schubert polynomials. For a general finite Coxeter system we construct an extension of the corresponding Nichols-Woronowicz algebra. In the case of finite crystallographic Coxeter systems we present a construction of extended Nichols-Woronowicz algebra model for the equivariant cohomology of the corresponding flag variety.

We interpret the GL_n equivariant cohomology of a partial flag variety of flags of length N in C^n as the Bethe algebra of a suitable gl_N[t] module associated with the tensor power (C^N)^{otimes n}.

We investigate the equivariant intersection cohomology of a toric variety. Considering the defining fan of the variety as a finite topological space with the subfans being the open sets (that corresponds to the toric topology given by the invariant open subsets), equivariant intersection cohomology provides a sheaf (of graded modules over a sheaf of graded rings) on that fan space. We prove that this sheaf is a minimal extension sheaf, i.e., that it satisfies three relatively simple axioms which are known to characterize such a sheaf up to isomorphism. In the verification of the second of these axioms, a key role is played by equivariantly formal toric varieties, where equivariant and usual (non-equivariant) intersection cohomology determine each other by Kunneth type formulae. Minimal extension sheaves can be constructed in a purely formal way and thus also exist for non-rational fans. As a consequence, we can extend the notion of an equivariantly formal fan even to this general setup. In this way, it will be possible to introduce virtual intersection cohomology for equivariantly formal non-rational fans.

Let $(H, R)$ be a finite dimensional quasitriangular Hopf algebra over a field $k$, and $_Hmathcal{M}$ the representation category of $H$. In this paper, we study the braided autoequivalences of the Drinfeld center $^H_Hmathcal{YD}$ trivializable on $_Hmathcal{M}$. We establish a group isomorphism between the group of those autoequivalences and the group of quantum commutative bi-Galois objects of the transmutation braided Hopf algebra $_RH$. We then apply this isomorphism to obtain a categorical interpretation of the exact sequence of the equivariant Brauer group $mathrm{BM}(k, H,R)$ in [18]. To this aim, we have to develop the braided bi-Galois theory initiated by Schauenburg in [14,15], which generalizes the Hopf bi-Galois theory over usual Hopf algebras to the one over braided Hopf algebras in a braided monoidal category.
We propose a definition of equivariant (with respect to an Iwahori subgroup) $K$-theory of the formal power series model $mathbf{Q}_{G}$ of semi-infinite flag manifold and prove the Pieri-Chevalley formula, which describes the product, in the $K$-theory of $mathbf{Q}_{G}$, of the structure sheaf of a semi-infinite Schubert variety with a line bundle (associated to a dominant integral weight) over $mathbf{Q}_{G}$. In order to achieve this, we provide a number of fundamental results on $mathbf{Q}_{G}$ and its Schubert subvarieties including the Borel-Weil-Bott theory, whose special case is conjectured in [A. Braverman and M. Finkelberg, Weyl modules and $q$-Whittaker functions, Math. Ann. 359 (2014), 45--59]. One more ingredient of this paper besides the geometric results above is (a combinatorial version of) standard monomial theory for level-zero extremal weight modules over quantum affine algebras, which is described in terms of semi-infinite Lakshmibai-Seshadri paths. In fact, in our Pieri-Chevalley formula, the positivity of structure coefficients is proved by giving an explicit representation-theoretic meaning through semi-infinite Lakshmibai-Seshadri paths.
In this article we introduce flag Bott manifolds of general Lie type as the total spaces of iterated flag bundles. They generalize the notion of flag Bott manifolds and generalized Bott manifolds, and admit nice torus actions. We calculate the torus equivariant cohomology rings of flag Bott manifolds of general Lie type.
