There is a need for a standard protocol that provides safe and reliable commands transportation to devices over Internet/ Intranet. Thus, we propose in this paper an Automatic Remote Control Protocol ARCP that helps designers and programmers to es tablish the connection and data transport between circuits/devices over the networks which control them safely and easily. The protocol allows sharing the circuits under control, where they can send or respond to commands over the Internet. We also provide a practical implementations and tests for this protocol using different devices interfaces and controlling then remotely by building a website with an easy and flexibly user interface.
This paper presents the effects of enhancing control systems' work conditions on active power filter performance in improving power quality. We will convert the changeable inputs of the controllers into static ones. The high harmonics' amplitude will be the set-values of the controllers, so the active filter reduces them into zero and then THD will be in its permitted limits.
One of the principal applications of fuzzy logic is in control system design. Fuzzy logic controllers (FLC) can be used to control systems where the use of conventional control techniques may be Problematic. The tuning of fuzzy controllers has tende d to rely on human expert knowledge, but where the number of rules and fuzzy sets is large. The Problem of generation desirable fuzzy rule is very important in the development of fuzzy systems. The purpose of this paper is to present a generation method of fuzzy control rules by learning from examples using genetic algorithms (GA). We propose real coded genetic algorithms (RCGA) for learning fuzzy rules, and an iterative process for obtaining set of rules which covers the examples set with a covering value previously defined.
This research aims to develop the control process of manned railway level crossings depending on the modern control systems that contain microcontrollers, microprocessors, sensors, actuators, communications and software to compose smart automated sys tems that could be remotely monitored. The control logarithm and flow charts for all the functions that occur on the railway level crossing were used, depending on European standards (Safer European Level Crossing Appraisal and Technology, SELCAT) that aim to develop safety technologies on European railway level crossings. We designed a program to emulate all warnings and procedures that happen on the real railway level crossing, depending on the graphical Programming language (Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Engineering Workbench, LabVIEW) that insures local monitoring on the crossing, and remote monitoring at the station and on the train via data network. By using the automated method, we were able to determine the approaching train to the crossing precisely, and insuring the provision of all warnings to road users and train driver to increase safety and reduce collision accidents between automobiles and train.
