This chapter addresses the grounds behind performing this work which could be summarized in identifying the technological processes to manufacture laboratory samples from unfilled Teflon and composite materials: Teflon+ Carbon Black and characterizin g these samples structurally , mechanically and electrically in order to master this powder based Teflon technology. This contributes to the transfer of this technology to the Syrian industrial and economical environment for the production of filled and unfilled PTFE parts and carbon black- PTFE composite materials meeting the required quality levels and establishing scientific and technological guidelines for this technology.
