The interelectronic-interaction effect on the transition probabilities in high-Z He-like ions is investigated within a systematic quantum electrodynamic approach. The calculation formulas for the interelectronic-interaction corrections of first order in 1/Z are derived using the two-time Green function method. These formulas are employed for numerical evaluations of the magnetic transition probabilities in heliumlike ions. The results of the calculations are compared with experimental values and previous calculations.

The most precise to-date evaluation of the nuclear recoil effect on the $n=1$ and $n=2$ energy levels of He-like ions is presented in the range $Z=12-100$. The one-electron recoil contribution is calculated within the framework of the rigorous QED ap proach to first order in the electron-to-nucleus mass ratio $m/M$ and to all orders in the parameter $alpha Z$. The two-electron $m/M$ recoil term is calculated employing the $1/Z$ perturbation theory. The recoil contribution of the zeroth order in $1/Z$ is evaluated to all orders in $alpha Z$, while the $1/Z$ term is calculated using the Breit approximation. The recoil corrections of the second and higher orders in $1/Z$ are taken into account within the nonrelativistic approach. The obtained results are compared with the previous evaluation of this effect [A. N. Artemyev et al., Phys. Rev. A 71, 062104 (2005)].

We performed a reference-free measurement of the transition energies of the $1s 2p,^1P_1to 1s^2 ,^1S_0$ line in He-like argon, and of the $1s 2s^2 2p,^1P_1to 1s^2 2s^2,^1S_0$ line in Be-like argon ions. The highly-charged ions were produced in the pl asma of an Electron-Cyclotron Resonance Ion Source. Both energy measurements were performed with an accuracy better than 3 parts in $10^6$, using a double flat-crystal spectrometer, without reference to any theoretical or experimental energy. The $1s 2s^2 2p,^1P_1to 1s^2 2s^2,^1S_0$ transition measurement is the first reference-free measurement for this core-excited transition. The $1s 2p,^1P_1to 1s^2 ,^1S_0$ transition measurement confirms recent measurement performed at the Heidelberg Electron-Beam Ion Trap (EBIT). The width measurement in the He-like transition provides test of a purely radiative decay calculations. In the case of the Be-like argon transition, the width results from the sum of a radiative channel and three main Auger channels. We also performed Multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock (MCDF) calculations of transition energies and rates and have done an extensive comparison with theory and other experimental data. For both measurements reported here, we find agreement with the most recent theoretical calculations within the combined theoretical and experimental uncertainties.
Hyperfine induced $1s2s ^1S_0 to 1s^2 ^1S_0$ M1 transition probabilities of He-like ions have been calculated from relativistic configuration interaction wavefunctions including the frequency independent Breit interaction and QED effects. Present res ults for {$^{151}$}Eu and {$^{155}$}Gd are in good agreement with previous calculations [Phys. Rev. A {bf 63}, 054105 (2001)]. Electronic data are given in terms of a general scaling law in $Z$ that, given isotopic nuclear spin and magnetic moment, allows hyperfine induced decay rates to be estimated for any isotope. The results should be helpful for future experimental investigations on QED and parity non-conservation effects.
The nuclear recoil effect on the $g$ factor of Li-like ions is evaluated. The one-electron recoil contribution is treated within the framework of the rigorous QED approach to first order in the electron-to-nucleus mass ratio $m/M$ and to all orders i n the parameter $alpha Z$. These calculations are performed in a range $Z=3-92$. The two-electron recoil term is calculated for low- and middle-$Z$ ions within the Breit approximation using a four-component approach. The results for the two-electron recoil part obtained in the paper strongly disagree with the previous calculations performed using an effective two-component Hamiltonian. The obtained value for the recoil effect is used to calculate the isotope shift of the $g$ factor of Li-like $^{A}$Ca$^{17+}$ with $A=40$ and $A=48$ which was recently measured. It is found that the new theoretical value for the isotope shift is closer to the experimental one than the previously obtained value.
The x-ray energies and transition rates associated with single and double electron radiative transitions from the double K hole state $2s2p$ to the $1s2s$ and $1s^{2}$ configurations of 11 He-like ions ($10!leq!Z!leq!47$) are evaluated using the full y relativistic multi-configuration Dirac-Fock method. An appropriate electron correlation model is constructed with the aid of the active space method, which allows the electron correlation effects to be studied efficiently. The contributions of electron correlation and the Breit interaction to the transition properties are analyzed in detail. It is found that the two-electron one-photon (TEOP) transition is correlation sensitive. The Breit interaction and electron correlation both contribute significantly to the radiative transition properties of the double K hole state of He-like ions. Good agreement between the present calculation and previous work is achieved. The calculated data will be helpful to future investigations on double K hole decay processes of He-like ions.
