We propose that Hawking radiation-like phenomena may be observed in systems that show butterfly effects. Suppose that a classical dynamical system has a Lyapunov exponent $lambda_L$, and is deterministic and non-thermal ($T=0$). We argue that, if we quantize this system, the quantum fluctuations may imitate thermal fluctuations with temperature $T sim hbar lambda_L/2 pi $ in a semi-classical regime, and it may cause analogous Hawking radiation. We also discuss that our proposal may provide an intuitive explanation of the existence of the bound of chaos proposed by Maldacena, Shenker and Stanford.

Vacuum Einstein equations when projected on to a black hole horizon is analogous to the dynamics of fluids. In this work we address the question, whether certain properties of semi-classical black holes could be holographically mapped into properties of (2 + 1)-dimensional fluid living on the horizon. In particular, we focus on the statistical mechanical description of the horizon-fluid that leads to Bekenstein-Hawking entropy. Within the paradigm of Landau mean field theory and existence of a condensate at a critical temperature, we explicitly show that Bekenstein-Hawking entropy and other features of black hole thermodynamics can be recovered from the statistical modelling of the fluid. We also show that a negative cosmological constant acts like an external magnetic field that induces order in the system leading to the appearance of a tri-critical point in the phase diagram.
Hawking radiation is obtained from the Reissner-Nordstr{o}m blackhole with a global monopole and the Garfinkle-Horowitz-Strominger blackhole falling in the class of the most general spherically symmetric blackholes $(sqrt{-g} eq1)$, using only chiral anomaly near the event horizon and covariant boundary condition at the event horizon. The approach differs from the anomaly cancellation approach since apart from the covariant boundary condition, the chiral anomaly near the horizon is the only input to derive the Hawking flux.

We show that for the thermal spectrum of Hawking radiation black holes information loss paradox may still be present, even if including the entanglement information stored in the entangled Minkowski vacuum. And to avoid this inconsistency, the spectr um of Hawking radiation must be nonthermal. After reconsidering the derivation of Hawking effect, we find that the thermal spectrum is actually resulted from the geometric optics approximation in deriving the Bogolubov coefficients. When treated a little more accurately, we obtain some nonthermal spectrum for the Hawing radiation, which reduces to the thermal one in the geometric optics approximation.
We consider the island formula for the entropy of subsets of the Hawking radiation in the adiabatic limit where the evaporation is very slow. We find a simple concrete `on-shell formula for the generalized entropy which involves the image of the isla nd out in the stream of radiation, the `island in the stream. The resulting recipe for the entropy allows us to calculate the quantum information properties of the radiation and verify various constraints including the Araki-Lieb inequality and strong subadditivity.
Operator growth in spatially local quantum many-body systems defines a scrambling velocity. We prove that this scrambling velocity bounds the state dependence of the out-of-time-ordered correlator in local lattice models. We verify this bound in simu lations of the thermal mixed-field Ising spin chain. For scrambling operators, the butterfly velocity shows a crossover from a microscopic high temperature value to a distinct value at temperatures below the energy gap.
