In a previous article, a construction of the smooth Deligne-Beilinson cohomology groups $H^p_D(M)$ on a closed $3$-manifold $M$ represented by a Heegaard splitting $X_L cup_f X_R$ was presented. Then, a determination of the partition functions of the $U(1)$ Chern-Simons and BF Quantum Field theories was deduced from this construction. In this second and concluding article we stay in the context of a Heegaard spitting of $M$ to define Deligne-Beilinson $1$-currents whose equivalent classes form the elements of $H^1_D(M)^star$, the Pontryagin dual of $H^1_D(M)$. Finally, we use singular fields to first recover the partition functions of the $U(1)$ Chern-Simons and BF quantum field theories, and next to determine the link invariants defined by these theories. The difference between the use of smooth and singular fields is also discussed.

The aim of this article is twofold: firstly, we show how to recover the smooth Deligne-Beilinson cohomology groups from a Heegaard splitting of a closed oriented smooth 3-manifold by extending the usual tch-de Rham construction; secondly, thanks to t he above and still relying on a Heegaard splitting, we explain how to compute the partition functions of the $U(1)$ Chern-Simons and BF theories.

We consider a construction of observables by using methods of supersymmetric field theories. In particular, we give an extension of AKSZ-type observables using the Batalin-Vilkovisky structure of AKSZ theories to a formal global version with methods of formal geometry. We will consider the case where the AKSZ theory is split which will give an explicit construction for formal vector fields on base and fiber within the formal global action. Moreover, we consider the example of formal global generalized Wilson surface observables whose expectation values are invariants of higher-dimensional knots by using $BF$ field theory. These constructions give rise to interesting global gauge conditions such as the differential Quantum Master Equation and further extensions.
Starting from a $dtimes d$ rational Lax pair system of the form $hbar partial_x Psi= LPsi$ and $hbar partial_t Psi=RPsi$ we prove that, under certain assumptions (genus $0$ spectral curve and additional conditions on $R$ and $L$), the system satisfie s the topological type property. A consequence is that the formal $hbar$-WKB expansion of its determinantal correlators, satisfy the topological recursion. This applies in particular to all $(p,q)$ minimal models reductions of the KP hierarchy, or to the six Painleve systems.
By using the Hamilton-Jacobi [HJ] framework the topological theories associated with Euler and Pontryagin classes are analyzed. We report the construction of a fundamental $HJ$ differential where the characteristic equations and the symmetries of the theory are identified. Moreover, we work in both theories with the same phase space variables and we show that in spite of Pontryagin and Euler classes share the same equations of motion their symmetries are different. In addition, we report all HJ Hamiltonians and we compare our results with other formulations reported in the literature.
We review the definition of hypergroups by Sunder, and we associate a hypergroup to a type III subfactor $Nsubset M$ of finite index, whose canonical endomorphism $gammainmathrm{End}(M)$ is multiplicity-free. It is realized by positive maps of $M$ th at have $N$ as fixed points. If the depth is $>2$, this hypergroup is different from the hypergroup associated with the fusion algebra of $M$-$M$ bimodules that was Sunders original motivation to introduce hypergroups. We explain how the present hypergroup, associated with a suitable subfactor, controls the composition of transparent boundary conditions between two isomorphic quantum field theories, and that this generalizes to a hypergroupoid of boundary conditions between different quantum field theories sharing a common subtheory.
