We holographically investigate the decay of heavy-flavoured baryonic hadron involving glueball by using the Witten-Sakai-Sugimoto model. Since baryon in this model is recognized as the D4-brane wrapped on $S^{4}$ and the glueball field is identified as the bulk gravitational fluctuations, the interaction of the bulk graviton and the baryon brane could be naturally interpreted as glueball-baryon interaction through the holography which is nothing but the close-open string interaction in string theory. In order to take account into the heavy flavour, an extra pair of heavy-flavoured branes separated from the other flavour branes with a heavy-light open string is embedded into the bulk. Due to the finite separation of the flavour branes, the heavy-light string creates massive multiplets which could be identified as the heavy-light meson fields in this model. As the baryon brane on the other hand could be equivalently described by the instanton configuration on the flavour brane, we solve the equations of motion for the heavy-light fields with the Belavin-Polyakov-Schwarz-Tyupkin (BPST) instanton solution for the $N_{f}=2$ flavoured gauge fields. Then with the solutions, we evaluate the soliton mass by deriving the flavoured onshell action in strongly coupling limit and heavy quark limit. After the collectivization and quantization, the quantum mechanical system for glueball and heavy-flavoured baryon is obtained in which the effective Hamiltonian is time-dependent. Finally we use the standard technique for the time-dependent quantum mechanical system to analyze the decay of heavy-flavoured baryon involving glueball and we find one of the decay process might correspond to the decay of baryonic B-meson involving the glueball candidate $f_{0}left(1710right)$. This work is a holographic approach to study the decay of heavy-flavoured hadron in nuclear physics.

We construct the D4/D8 brane configuration in the Witten-Sakai-Sugimoto model by introducing a pair of heavy flavour brane with a heavy-light open string. The multiplets created by the heavy-light string acquire mass due to the finite separation of t he heavy and light flavour branes thus they could be identified as the heavy-light meson fields in this model. On the other hand the glueball field is identified as the gravitational fluctuations carried by the close string in the bulk, so this model is able to describe the interaction of glueball and heavy-light meson through the open-close string interaction in gauge-gravity duality. We explicitly derive the effective action for the various glueballs and heavy-light mesons then numerically evaluate the associated coupling constants. Afterwards the decay widths of various glueballs to the lowest heavy-light meson, which is identified as $D^{0}$ meson, are calculated by using our effective action. This work extends the previous investigations of glueball in holographic QCD and it is also a further prediction of glueball-meson interaction.

We study baryons and baryonic matter in holographic QCD using a D4/D8/$bar{rm D8}$ multi-D-brane system in the superstring theory. We obtain the chiral soliton solution for baryons in the four-dimensional meson theory derived from the multi-D-brane s ystem. For the analysis of finite baryon-density matter, we investigate the chiral soliton on $S^3$ in holographic QCD, and find the delocalization of the soliton, i.e., the swelling of baryons in dense matter.
We study heavy-quark potential in an inflationary braneworld scenario. The scenario we consider is an (Euclidean) inflating braneworld $AdS_4$ embedded in a static Euclidean $AdS_5$. Using gauge/gravity duality we obtain a confining phase depending o n the ratio between the Hubble parameter $H$ in the braneworld and the brane tension $sigma$.
We study the cold and dense regime in the phase diagram of two-color QCD with heavy quarks within a three-dimensional effective theory for Polyakov loops. This theory is derived from two-color QCD in a combined strong-coupling and hopping expansion. In particular, we study the onset of diquark density as the finite-density transition of the bosonic baryons in the two-color world. In contrast to previous studies of heavy dense QCD, our zero-temperature extrapolations are consistent with a continuous transition without binding energy. They thus provide evidence that the effective theory for heavy quarks is capable of describing the characteristic differences between diquark condensation in two-color QCD and the liquid-gas transition of nuclear matter in QCD.
The dynamics of QCD matter is often described using effective mean field (MF) models based on Boltzmann-Gibbs (BG) extensive statistics. However, such matter is normally produced in small packets and in violent collisions where the usual conditions j ustifying the use of BG statistics are not fulfilled and the systems produced are not extensive. This can be accounted for either by enriching the original dynamics or by replacing the BG statistics by its nonextensive counterpart described by a nonextensivity parameter $q eq 1$ (for $q to 1$ one returns to the extensive situation). In this work we investigate the interplay between the effects of dynamics and nonextensivity. Since the complexity of the nonextensive MF models prevents their simple visualization, we instead use some simple quasi-particle description of QCD matter in which the interaction is modelled phenomenologically by some effective fugacities, $z$. Embedding such a model in a nonextensive environment allows for a well-defined separation of the dynamics (represented by $z$) and the nonextensivity (represented by $q$) and a better understanding of their relationship.
