Affine jump-diffusions constitute a large class of continuous-time stochastic models that are particularly popular in finance and economics due to their analytical tractability. Methods for parameter estimation for such processes require ergodicity in order establish consistency and asymptotic normality of the associated estimators. In this paper, we develop stochastic stability conditions for affine jump-diffusions, thereby providing the needed large-sample theoretical support for estimating such processes. We establish ergodicity for such models by imposing a `strong mean reversion condition and a mild condition on the distribution of the jumps, i.e. the finiteness of a logarithmic moment. Exponential ergodicity holds if the jumps have a finite moment of a positive order. In addition, we prove strong laws of large numbers and functional central limit theorems for additive functionals for this class of models.

In this paper, we study the asymptotic behaviors of implied volatility of an affine jump-diffusion model. Let log stock price under risk-neutral measure follow an affine jump-diffusion model, we show that an explicit form of moment generating functio n for log stock price can be obtained by solving a set of ordinary differential equations. A large-time large deviation principle for log stock price is derived by applying the G{a}rtner-Ellis theorem. We characterize the asymptotic behaviors of the implied volatility in the large-maturity and large-strike regime using rate function in the large deviation principle. The asymptotics of the Black-Scholes implied volatility for fixed-maturity, large-strike and fixed-maturity, small-strike regimes are also studied. Numerical results are provided to validate the theoretical work.
We investigate the existence of affine realizations for L{e}vy driven interest rate term structure models under the real-world probability measure, which so far has only been studied under an assumed risk-neutral probability measure. For models drive n by Wiener processes, all results obtained under the risk-neutral approach concerning the existence of affine realizations are transferred to the general case. A similar result holds true for models driven by compound Poisson processes with finite jump size distributions. However, in the presence of jumps with infinite activity we obtain severe restrictions on the structure of the market price of risk; typically, it must even be constant.
We study a class of non linear integro-differential equations on the Wasserstein space related to the optimal control of McKean--Vlasov jump-diffusions. We develop an intrinsic notion of viscosity solutions that does not rely on the lifting to an Hil bert space and prove a comparison theorem for these solutions. We also show that the value function is the unique viscosity solution.
Fractional stochastic volatility models have been widely used to capture the non-Markovian structure revealed from financial time series of realized volatility. On the other hand, empirical studies have identified scales in stock price volatility: bo th fast-time scale on the order of days and slow-scale on the order of months. So, it is natural to study the portfolio optimization problem under the effects of dependence behavior which we will model by fractional Brownian motions with Hurst index $H$, and in the fast or slow regimes characterized by small parameters $eps$ or $delta$. For the slowly varying volatility with $H in (0,1)$, it was shown that the first order correction to the problem value contains two terms of order $delta^H$, one random component and one deterministic function of state processes, while for the fast varying case with $H > half$, the same form holds at order $eps^{1-H}$. This paper is dedicated to the remaining case of a fast-varying rough environment ($H < half$) which exhibits a different behavior. We show that, in the expansion, only one deterministic term of order $sqrt{eps}$ appears in the first order correction.
The problem of portfolio allocation in the context of stocks evolving in random environments, that is with volatility and returns depending on random factors, has attracted a lot of attention. The problem of maximizing a power utility at a terminal t ime with only one random factor can be linearized thanks to a classical distortion transformation. In the present paper, we address the problem with several factors using a perturbation technique around the case where these factors are perfectly correlated reducing the problem to the case with a single factor. We illustrate our result with a particular model for which we have explicit formulas. A rigorous accuracy result is also derived using a verification result for the HJB equation involved. In order to keep the notations as explicit as possible, we treat the case with one stock and two factors and we describe an extension to the case with two stocks and two factors.
