Amplitude models are constructed to describe the resonance structure of ${D^{0}to K^{-}pi^{+}pi^{+}pi^{-}}$ and ${D^{0} to K^{+}pi^{-}pi^{-}pi^{+}}$ decays using $pp$ collision data collected at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV with the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3.0mathrm{fb}^{-1}$. The largest contributions to both decay amplitudes are found to come from axial resonances, with decay modes $D^{0} to a_1(1260)^{+} K^{-}$ and $D^{0} to K_1(1270/1400)^{+} pi^{-}$ being prominent in ${D^{0}to K^{-}pi^{+}pi^{+}pi^{-}}$ and $D^{0}to K^{+}pi^{-}pi^{-}pi^{+}$, respectively. Precise measurements of the lineshape parameters and couplings of the $a_1(1260)^{+}$, $K_1(1270)^{-}$ and $K(1460)^{-}$ resonances are made, and a quasi model-independent study of the $K(1460)^{-}$ resonance is performed. The coherence factor of the decays is calculated from the amplitude models to be $R_{K3pi} = 0.459pm 0.010,(mathrm{stat}) pm 0.012,(mathrm{syst}) pm 0.020,(mathrm{model})$, which is consistent with direct measurements. These models will be useful in future measurements of the unitary-triangle angle $gamma$ and studies of charm mixing and $C!P$ violation.

Amplitude models are applied to studies of resonance structure in $D^0to K^0_S K^- pi^+$ and $D^0to K^0_S K^+ pi^-$ decays using $pp$ collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3.0,mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ collected by the LHCb experiment. Relative magnitude and phase information is determined, and coherence factors and related observables are computed for both the whole phase space and a restricted region of $100,mathrm{MeV/}c^2$ around the $K^{*}(892)^{pm}$ resonance. Two formulations for the $Kpi$ $S$-wave are used, both of which give a good description of the data. The ratio of branching fractions $mathcal{B}(D^0to K^0_S K^+ pi^-)/mathcal{B}(D^0to K^0_S K^- pi^+)$ is measured to be $0.655pm0.004,(textrm{stat})pm0.006,(textrm{syst})$ over the full phase space and $0.370pm0.003, (textrm{stat})pm0.012,(textrm{syst})$ in the restricted region. A search for $CP$ violation is performed using the amplitude models and no significant effect is found. Predictions from $SU(3)$ flavor symmetry for $K^{*}(892)K$ amplitudes of different charges are compared with the amplitude model results.
An analysis of the decays of $B^mp rightarrow D K^mp$ and $B^mp rightarrow D pi^mp $ is presented in which the $D$ meson is reconstructed in the three-body final states $K^mp pi^pm pi^0$, $pi^+ pi^- pi^0$ and $K^+ K^- pi^0$. Using data from LHCb corr esponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb$^{-1}$ of $pp$ collisions, measurements of several $CP$ observables are performed. First observations are obtained of the suppressed ADS decay $B^mp rightarrow [pi^mp K^pm pi^0]_D pi^mp$ and the quasi-GLW decay $B^mp rightarrow [K^+ K^- pi^0]_D pi^mp$. The results are interpreted in the context of the unitarity triangle angle $gamma$ and related parameters.
A first study of CP violation in the decay modes $B^pmto [K^0_{rm S} K^pm pi^mp]_D h^pm$ and $B^pmto [K^0_{rm S} K^mp pi^pm]_D h^pm$, where $h$ labels a $K$ or $pi$ meson and $D$ labels a $D^0$ or $overline{D}^0$ meson, is performed. The analysis use s the LHCb data set collected in $pp$ collisions, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb$^{-1}$. The analysis is sensitive to the CP-violating CKM phase $gamma$ through seven observables: one charge asymmetry in each of the four modes and three ratios of the charge-integrated yields. The results are consistent with measurements of $gamma$ using other decay modes.
A measurement of the $CP$ asymmetries $S_{f}$ and $S_{bar{f}}$ in $B^0to D^{mp}pi^{pm}$ decays is reported. The decays are reconstructed in a dataset collected with the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3.0 rm{ fb}^{-1}$. The $CP$ asymmetries are measured to be $S_{f} = 0.058 pm 0.020 (rm{stat}) pm 0.011(rm{syst})$ and $S_{bar{f}} = 0.038pm 0.020 (text{stat})pm 0.007 (text{syst})$. These results are in agreement with, and more precise than, previous determinations. They are used to constrain $|sinleft(2beta+gammaright)|$ and $gamma$ to intervals that are consistent with the current world-average values.
