The processes of dielectron production in deuteron-proton collisions at intermediate incident deuteron beam energies are analyzed in the spectator model within the one-pion exchange reggeized approach. We focus mainly on the momentum and angle distributions of the proton-spectator and the proton emitted in quasi-free $NN$ processes at small angles in the laboratory frame. It is shown that the inclusion of many channels in quasi-free $NN$ interaction allows us to describe the HADES data quite satisfactorily at incident deuteron kinetic energies of about 2.5 GeV.

A chiral constituent quark model approach, embodying s- and u-channel exchanges, complemented with a Reggeized treatment for t-channel is presented. A model is obtained allowing data for $pi^- p to eta n$ and $gamma p to eta p$ to be describe satisfac torily. For the latter reaction, recently released data by CLAS and CBELSA/TAPS Collaborations in the system total energy range $1.6 lesssim W lesssim 2.8$ GeV are well reproduced due to the inclusion of Reggeized trajectories instead of simple $rho$ and $omega$ poles. Contribution from missing resonances is found to be negligible in the considered processes.

Inclusive production of e+e--pairs in pp and dp collisions at a kinetic beam energy of 1.25 GeV/u has been studied with the HADES spectrometer. In the latter case, the main goal was to obtain data on pair emission in quasi-free np collisions. To sele ct this particular reaction channel the HADES experimental setup was extended with a Forward Wall hodoscope, which allowed to register spectator protons. Here, the measured invariant mass distributions demonstrate a strong enhancement of the pair yield for M > 140 MeV/c2 in comparison to pp data.
Data on inclusive dielectron production are presented for the reaction p+p at 2.2 GeV measured with the High Acceptance DiElectron Spectrometer (HADES). Our results supplement data obtained earlier in this bombarding energy regime by DLS and HADES. T he comparison with the 2.09 GeV DLS data is discussed. The reconstructed e+e- distributions are confronted with simulated pair cocktails, revealing an excess yield at invariant masses around 0.5 GeV/c2. Inclusive cross sections of neutral pion and eta production are obtained.
We analyze the open charm production in the binary $pi p to bar{D} Lambda_c$ and $pi(rho) J/psi$ reactions within the Regge theory including the absorption corrections. The calculations show that the total cross section is about a few $mu$b for the f irst processes and a few mb for the second reactions at energy close to the threshold. Then it decreases with increasing energy according to the true Regge asymptotics.

We report on baryon resonance production and decay in proton-proton collisions at a kinetic energy of $3.5$ GeV based on data measured with HADES. The exclusive channels $pp rightarrow nppi^{+}$ and $pp rightarrow pppi^{0}$ as well as $pp rightarrow ppe^{+}e^{-}$ are studied simultaneously for the first time. The invariant masses and angular distributions of the pion-nucleon systems were studied and compared to simulations based on a resonance model ansatz assuming saturation of the pion production by an incoherent sum of baryonic resonances (R) with masses $<2~$ GeV/$c^2$. A very good description of the one-pion production is achieved allowing for an estimate of individual baryon-resonance production-cross-sections which are used as input to calculate the dielectron yields from $Rrightarrow pe^+e^-$ decays. Two models of the resonance decays into dielectrons are examined assuming a point-like $RN gamma^*$ coupling and the dominance of the $rho$ meson. The results of model calculations are compared to data from the exclusive $ppe^{+}e^{-}$ channel by means of the dielectron and $pe^+e^-$ invariant mass distributions.
