We present a technique to constrain galaxy cluster pressure profiles by jointly fitting Sunyaev-Zeldovich effect (SZE) data obtained with MUSTANG and Bolocam for the clusters Abell 1835 and MACS0647. Bolocam and MUSTANG probe different angular scales and are thus highly complementary. We find that the addition of the high resolution MUSTANG data can improve constraints on pressure profile parameters relative to those derived solely from Bolocam. In Abell 1835 and MACS0647, we find gNFW inner slopes of $gamma = 0.36_{-0.21}^{+0.33}$ and $gamma = 0.38_{-0.25}^{+0.20}$, respectively when $alpha$ and $beta$ are constrained to 0.86 and 4.67 respectively. The fitted SZE pressure profiles are in good agreement with X-ray derived pressure profiles.

We present pressure profiles of galaxy clusters determined from high resolution Sunyaev-Zeldovich (SZ) effect observations of fourteen clusters, which span the redshift range $ 0.25 < z < 0.89$. The procedure simultaneously fits spherical cluster mod els to MUSTANG and Bolocam data. In this analysis, we adopt the generalized NFW parameterization of pressure profiles to produce our models. Our constraints on ensemble-average pressure profile parameters, in this study $gamma$, $C_{500}$, and $P_0$, are consistent with those in previous studies, but for individual clusters we find discrepancies with the X-ray derived pressure profiles from the ACCEPT2 database. We investigate potential sources of these discrepancies, especially cluster geometry, electron temperature of the intracluster medium, and substructure. We find that the ensemble mean profile for all clusters in our sample is described by the parameters: $[gamma,C_{500},P_0] = [0.3_{-0.1}^{+0.1}, 1.3_{-0.1}^{+0.1}, 8.6_{-2.4}^{+2.4}]$, for cool core clusters: $[gamma,C_{500},P_0] = [0.6_{-0.1}^{+0.1}, 0.9_{-0.1}^{+0.1}, 3.6_{-1.5}^{+1.5}]$, and for disturbed clusters: $[gamma,C_{500},P_0] = [0.0_{-0.0}^{+0.1}, 1.5_{-0.2}^{+0.1},13.8_{-1.6}^{+1.6}]$. Four of the fourteen clusters have clear substructure in our SZ observations, while an additional two clusters exhibit potential substructure.
We describe Sunyaev-Zeldovich (SZ) effect measurements and analysis of the intracluster medium (ICM) pressure profiles of a set of 45 massive galaxy clusters imaged using Bolocam at the Caltech Submillimeter Observatory. We have used masses determine d from Chandra X-ray observations to scale each clusters profile by the overdensity radius R500 and the mass-and-redshift-dependent normalization factor P500. We deproject the average pressure profile of our sample into 13 logarithmically spaced radial bins between 0.07R500 and 3.5R500. We find that a generalized Navarro, Frenk, and White (gNFW) profile describes our data with sufficient goodness-of-fit and best-fit parameters (C500, alpha, beta, gamma, P0 = 1.18, 0.86, 3.67, 0.67, 4.29). We also use the X-ray data to define cool-core and disturbed subsamples of clusters, and we constrain the average pressure profiles of each of these subsamples. We find that given the precision of our data the average pressure profiles of disturbed and cool-core clusters are consistent with one another at R>~0.15R500, with cool-core systems showing indications of higher pressure at R<~0.15R500. In addition, for the first time, we place simultaneous constraints on the mass scaling of cluster pressure profiles, their ensemble mean profile, and their radius-dependent intrinsic scatter between 0.1R500 and 2.0R500. The scatter among profiles is minimized at radii between ~0.2R500 and ~0.5R500, with a value of ~20%. The best-fit mass scaling has a power-law slope of 0.49, which is shallower than the nominal prediction of 2/3 from self-similar hydrostatic equilibrium models. These results for the intrinsic scatter and mass scaling are largely consistent with previous analyses, most of which have relied heavily on X-ray derived pressures of clusters at significantly lower masses and redshifts compared to our sample.
The galaxy cluster Zwicky 3146 is a sloshing cool core cluster at $z=0.291$ that in X-ray imaging does not appear to exhibit significant pressure substructure in the intracluster medium (ICM). The published $M_{500}$ values range between $3.88^{+0.62 }_{-0.58}$ to $22.50 pm 7.58 times 10^{14}$ M$_{odot}$, where ICM-based estimates with reported errors $<20$% suggest that we should expect to find a mass between $6.53^{+0.44}_{-0.44} times 10^{14}$ M$_{odot}$ (from Planck, with an $8.4sigma$ detection) and $8.52^{+1.77}_{-1.47} times 10^{14}$ M$_{odot}$ (from ACT, with a $14sigma$ detection). This broad range of masses is suggestive that there is ample room for improvement for all methods. Here, we investigate the ability to estimate the mass of Zwicky 3146 via the Sunyaev-Zeldovich (SZ) effect with data taken at 90 GHz by MUSTANG-2 to a noise level better than $15 mu$K at the center, and a cluster detection of $104sigma$. We derive a pressure profile from our SZ data which is in excellent agreement with that derived from X-ray data. From our SZ-derived pressure profiles, we infer $M_{500}$ and $M_{2500}$ via three methods -- $Y$-$M$ scaling relations, the virial theorem, and hydrostatic equilibrium -- where we employ X-ray constraints from emph{XMM-Newton} on the electron density profile when assuming hydrostatic equilibrium. Depending on the model and estimation method, our $M_{500}$ estimates range from $6.23 pm 0.59$ to $10.6 pm 0.95 times 10^{14}$ M$_{odot}$, where our estimate from hydrostatic equilibrium, is $8.29^{+1.93}_{-1.24}$ ($pm 19.1$% stat) ${}^{+0.74}_{-0.68}$ ($pm 8.6$% sys, calibration) $times 10^{14}$ M$_{odot}$. Our fiducial mass, derived from a $Y$-$M$ relation is $8.16^{+0.44}_{-0.54}$ ($pm 5.5$% stat) ${}^{+0.46}_{-0.43}$ ($pm 5.5$% sys, $Y$-$M$) ${}^{+0.59}_{-0.55}$ ($pm 7.0$% sys, cal.) $times 10^{14}$ M$_{odot}$.

We present scaling relations between the integrated Sunyaev-Zeldovich Effect (SZE) signal, $Y_{rm SZ}$, its X-ray analogue, $Y_{rm X}equiv M_{rm gas}T_{rm X}$, and total mass, $M_{rm tot}$, for the 45 galaxy clusters in the Bolocam X-ray-SZ (BOXSZ) s ample. All parameters are integrated within $r_{2500}$. $Y_{2500}$ values are measured using SZE data collected with Bolocam, operating at 140 GHz at the Caltech Submillimeter Observatory (CSO). The temperature, $T_{rm X}$, and mass, $M_{rm gas,2500}$, of the intracluster medium are determined using X-ray data collected with Chandra, and $M_{rm tot}$ is derived from $M_{rm gas}$ assuming a constant gas mass fraction. Our analysis accounts for several potential sources of bias, including: selection effects, contamination from radio point sources, and the loss of SZE signal due to noise filtering and beam-smoothing effects. We measure the $Y_{2500}$--$Y_{rm X}$ scaling to have a power-law index of $0.84pm0.07$, and a fractional intrinsic scatter in $Y_{2500}$ of $(21pm7)%$ at fixed $Y_{rm X}$, both of which are consistent with previous analyses. We also measure the scaling between $Y_{2500}$ and $M_{2500}$, finding a power-law index of $1.06pm0.12$ and a fractional intrinsic scatter in $Y_{2500}$ at fixed mass of $(25pm9)%$. While recent SZE scaling relations using X-ray mass proxies have found power-law indices consistent with the self-similar prediction of 5/3, our measurement stands apart by differing from the self-similar prediction by approximately 5$sigma$. Given the good agreement between the measured $Y_{2500}$--$Y_{rm X}$ scalings, much of this discrepancy appears to be caused by differences in the calibration of the X-ray mass proxies adopted for each particular analysis.
We present 90, 140, and 268GHz sub-arcminute resolution imaging of the Sunyaev-Zeldovich effect (SZE) in MACSJ0717.5+3745. Our 90GHz SZE data result in a sensitive, 34uJy/bm map at 13 resolution using MUSTANG. Our 140 and 268GHz SZE imaging, with res olutions of 58 and 31 and sensitivities of 1.8 and 3.3mJy/beam respectively, was obtained using Bolocam. We compare these maps to a 2-dimensional pressure map derived from Chandra X-ray observations. Our MUSTANG data confirm previous indications from Chandra of a pressure enhancement due to shock-heated, >20keV gas immediately adjacent to extended radio emission seen in low-frequency radio maps. The MUSTANG data also detect pressure substructure that is not well-constrained by the X-ray data in the remnant core of a merging subcluster. We find that the small-scale pressure enhancements in the MUSTANG data amount to ~2% of the total pressure measured in the 140GHz Bolocam observations. The X-ray template also fails on larger scales to accurately describe the Bolocam data, particularly at the location of a subcluster known to have a high line of sight optical velocity (~3200km/s). Our Bolocam data are adequately described when we add an additional component - not described by a thermal SZE spectrum - coincident with this subcluster. Using flux densities extracted from our model fits, and marginalizing over the temperature constraints for the region, we fit a thermal+kinetic SZE spectrum to our data and find the subcluster has a best-fit line of sight proper velocity of 3600+3440/-2160km/s. This agrees with the optical velocity estimates for the subcluster. The probability of velocity<0 given our measurements is 2.1%. Repeating this analysis using flux densities measured non-parametrically results in a 3.4% probability of a velocity<=0. We note that this tantalizing result for the kinetic SZE is on resolved, subcluster scales.
