The low-lying energy spectra of five quark systems $uudcbar{c}$ (I=1/2, S=0) and $udscbar{c}$ (I=0, S=-1) are investigated with three kinds of schematic interactions: the chromomagnetic interaction, the flavor-spin dependent interaction and the instanton-induced interaction. In all the three models, the lowest five quark state ($uudcbar{c}$ or $udscbar{c}$) has an orbital angular momentum L=0 and the spin-parity $J^{P}=1/2^{-}$; the mass of the lowest $udscbar{c}$ state is heavier than the lowest $uudcbar{c}$ state.
Evidence has been accumulating for the existence of significant intrinsic non-perturbative five-quark components in various baryons. The inclusion of the five-quark components gives a natural explanation of the excess of $bar d$ over $bar u$, signifi
Short-range quark-quark correlations are introduced into the quark-meson coupling (QMC) model phenomenologically. We study the effect of the correlations on the structure of the nucleon in dense nuclear matter. With the addition of correlations, the
The effect of the vector interaction on three flavor magnetized matter is studied within the SU(3) Nambu--Jona-Lasiono quark model. We have considered cold matter under a static external magnetic field within two different models for the vector inter
In this paper, we suggest that the process in quark nova explosion may exist widely in various kinds of supernova, although it only happens in a small part in the core in most cases. And the contribution to the energy releasing of whole supernova exp
An improved quark mass density- dependent model with the non-linear scalar sigma field and the $omega$-meson field is presented. We show that the present model can describe saturation properties, the equation of state, the compressibility and the eff
