A chiral field theory of $0^{-+}$ glueball is presented. By adding a $0^{-+}$ glueball field to a successful Lagrangian of chiral field theory of pseudoscalar, vector, and axial-vector mesons, the Lagrangian of this theory is constructed. The couplings between the pseodoscalar glueball field and mesons are via U(1) anomaly revealed. Qualitative study of the physical processes of the $0^{-+}$ glueball of $m=1.405textrm{GeV}$ is presented. The theoretical predictions can be used to identify the $0^{-+}$ glueball.

We revisit the chiral kinetic equation from high density effective theory approach, finding a chiral kinetic equation differs from counterpart derived from field theory in high order terms in the $O(1/mu)$ expansion, but in agreement with the equatio n derived in on-shell effective field theory upon identification of cutoff. By using reparametrization transformation properties of the effective theory, we show that the difference in kinetic equations from two approaches are in fact expected. It is simply due to different choices of degree of freedom by effective theory and field theory. We also show that they give equivalent description of the dynamics of chiral fermions.
We calculate the mass of $0^{-+}$ triple-valence-gluon resonance, the trigluon glueball, with QCD sum rules. Its mass is found to be approximately in the region between 1.9 GeV and 2.7 GeV with some theoretical uncertainties. Moreover, it is likely t hat the new BES measurement of the $p bar{p}$ enhancement near threshold in the $J/psi$ decays exhibits the behavior of this trigluon state. Our analyzes favor the baryonium-gluonium mixing picture for the BES observation.
Transverse densities describe the distribution of charge and current at fixed light-front time and provide a frame-independent spatial representation of hadrons as relativistic systems. We calculate the transverse densities of the octet baryons at pe ripheral distances b = O(M_pi^{-1}) in an approach combining chiral effective field theory (ChEFT) and dispersion analysis. The densities are represented as dispersive integrals of the imaginary parts of the baryon electromagnetic form factors in the timelike region (spectral functions). The spectral functions on the two-pion cut at t > 4 M_pi^2 are computed using relativistic ChEFT with octet and decuplet baryons in the EOMS renormalization scheme. The calculations are extended into the rho-meson mass region, using a dispersive method that incorporates the timelike pion form-factor data. The approach allows us to construct densities at distances b > 1 fm with controlled uncertainties. Our results provide insight into the peripheral structure of nucleons and hyperons and can be compared with empirical densities and lattice-QCD calculations.
