We report a measurement of the exclusive e+e- -->Lambda_c+ Lambda_c- cross section as a function of center-of-mass energy near the Lambda_c+ Lambda_c- threshold. A clear peak with a significance of 8.2 sigma is observed in the Lambda_c+ Lambda_c- invariant mass distribution just above threshold. With an assumption of a resonance origin for the observed peak, a mass and width of M=(4634^{+8}_{-7}(stat.)^{+5}_{-8}(sys.))Mev/c2 and Gamma_tot=(92^{+40}_{-24}(stat.)}^{+10}_{-21}(sys.))MeV are determined. The analysis is based on a study of events with initial-state-radiation photons in a data sample collected with the Belle detector at the Upsilon(4S) resonance and nearby continuum with an integrated luminosity of 695/fb at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider.

A simultaneous fit is performed to the $e^+e^-to Lambda_c^+Lambda_c^-$ cross section data measured by Belle and BESIII from threshold up to 5.4 GeV. In order to accommodate both the BESIII measurement near threshold and the Belle observation of a res onance $Y(4630)$, we build a composite PDF with a Breit-Wigner resonance and a continuum contribution to model the full cross section line shape of $e^+e^-to Lambda_c^+Lambda_c^-$. The fit gives a mass of $M=[4636.1_{-7.2}^{+9.8} ($stat$)pm 8.0($syst$)]$~MeV/$c^2$, a width of $Gamma_{rm tot}=[34.5_{-16.2}^{+21.0} ($stat$)pm 5.6($syst$)]$~MeV, and $Gamma_{e^+ e^-}mathcal{B}[Y(4630)toLambda_c^+Lambda_c^-]=[18.3_{-6.1}^{+8.8} ($stat$)pm 1.1($syst$)]$~eV/$c^2$ for the resonance. The width of $Y(4630)$ from our study is narrower than the previous Belle fit. The mass and width of $Y(4630)$ also show good agreement with a vector resonance $Y(4626)$ recently observed in $D_s^+D_{s1}(2536)^-$ by Belle.

The process $e^{+}e^{-}rightarrowLambdabar{Lambda}$ is studied using data samples at $sqrt{s}=2.2324$, 2.400, 2.800 and 3.080 GeV collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider. The Born cross section is measured at $sqrt{s}$=2.2 324 GeV, which is 1.0 MeV above the $Lambdabar{Lambda}$ mass threshold, to be $305pm45^{+66}_{-36}$ pb, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The substantial cross section near threshold is significantly larger than that expected from theory, which predicts the cross section to vanish at threshold. The Born cross sections at $sqrt{s}$=2.400, 2.800 and 3.080 GeV are measured and found to be consistent with previous experimental results, but with improved precision. Finally, the corresponding effective electromagnetic form factors of $Lambda$ are deduced.

Using a data set with an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb$^{-1}$ taken at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we extract the $e^+e^-rightarrow pi^+pi^-$ cross section and the pion form factor $|F_pi|^ 2$ in the energy range between 600 and 900 MeV. We exploit the method of initial state radiation for this measurement, yielding a systematic uncertainty of 0.9%. We calculate the contribution of the measured cross section to the leading-order hadronic vacuum polarization contribution to $(g-2)_mu$.
We study the process e+e- -> pi+pi-pi+pi-gamma, with a photon emitted from the initial-state electron or positron, using 454.3 fb^-1 of data collected with the BABAR detector at SLAC, corresponding to approximately 260,000 signal events. We use these data to extract the non-radiative sigma(e+e- ->pi+pi-pi+pi-) cross section in the energy range from 0.6 to 4.5 Gev. The total uncertainty of the cross section measurement in the peak region is less than 3%, higher in precision than the corresponding results obtained from energy scan data.
We extract the $e^+e^-rightarrow pi^+pi^-$ cross section in the energy range between 600 and 900 MeV, exploiting the method of initial state radiation. A data set with an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb$^{-1}$ taken at a center-of-mass energy of 3.7 73 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider is used. The cross section is measured with a systematic uncertainty of 0.9%. We extract the pion form factor $|F_pi|^2$ as well as the contribution of the measured cross section to the leading order hadronic vacuum polarization contribution to $(g-2)_mu$. We find this value to be $a_mu^{pipi,rm LO}(600-900;rm MeV) = (368.2 pm 2.5_{rm stat} pm 3.3_{rm sys})cdot 10^{-10}$.
