We study the nonlinear dynamics of collective excitation in a $N$-site $XXZ$ quantum spin chain, which is manipulated by an oblique magnetic field. We show that, when the tilted field is applied along the magic angle $theta_{0} =pmarccos sqrt{1/3}$, the anisotropic Heisenberg spin chain becomes isotropic and thus an free propagating spin wave is stimulated. And in the regime of the tilted angle larger and smaller then the magic angle, two types of nonlinear excitations appear, which are bright soliton and dark soliton.

We propose and analyze a scheme for conditional state transfer in a Heisenberg $XXZ$ spin chain which realizes a quantum spin transistor. In our scheme, the absence or presence of a control spin excitation in the central gate part of the spin chain r esults in either perfect transfer of an arbitrary state of a target spin between the weakly coupled input and output ports, or its complete blockade at the input port. We also present a possible realization of the corresponding spin chain with a one-dimensional ensemble of cold atoms with strong contact interactions.
We consider an open isotropic Heisenberg quantum spin chain, coupled at the ends to boundary reservoirs polarized in different directions, which sets up a twisting gradient across the chain. Using a matrix product ansatz, we calculate the exact magne tization profiles and magnetization currents in the nonequilibrium steady steady state of a chain with N sites. The magnetization profiles are harmonic functions with a frequency proportional to the twisting angle {theta}. The currents of the magnetization components lying in the twisting plane and in the orthogonal direction behave qualitatively differently: In-plane steady state currents scale as 1/N^2 for fixed and sufficiently large boundary coupling, and vanish as the coupling increases, while the transversal current increases with the coupling and saturates to 2{theta}/N.
A purely electronic mechanism is proposed for the unconventional superconductivity recently observed in twisted bilayer graphene (tBG) close to the magic angle. Using the Migdal-Eliashberg framework on a one parameter effective lattice model for tBG we show that a superconducting state can be achieved by means of collective electronic modes in tBG. We posit robust features of the theory, including an asymmetrical superconducting dome and the magnitude of the critical temperature that are in agreement with experiments.
Taking the decoherence effect due to population relaxation into account, we investigate the entanglement properties for two qubits in the Heisenberg XY interaction and subject to an external magnetic field. It is found that the phenomenon of entangle ment sudden death (ESD) as well as sudden birth(ESB) appear during the evolution process for particular initial states. The influence of the external magnetic field and the spin environment on ESD and ESB are addressed in detail. It is shown that the concurrence, a measure of entanglement, can be controlled by tuning the parameters of the spin chain, such as the anisotropic parameter, external magnetic field, and the coupling strength with their environment. In particular, we find that a critical anisotropy constant exists, above which ESB vanishes while ESD appears. It is also notable that stable entanglement, which is independent of different initial states of the qubits, occurs even in the presence of decoherence.
By using the infinite time-evolving block decimation, we study quantum fidelity and entanglement entropy in the spin-1/2 Heisenberg alternating chain under an external magnetic field. The effects of the magnetic field on the fidelity are investigated , and its relation with the quantum phase transition (QPT) is analyzed. The phase diagram of the model is given accordingly, which supports the Haldane phase, the singlet-dimer phase, the Luttinger liquid phase and the paramagnetic phase. The scaling of entanglement entropy in the gapless Luttinger liquid phase is studied, and the central charge c = 1 is obtained. We also study the relationship between the quantum coherence, string order parameter and QPTs. Results obtained from these quantum information observations are consistent with the previous reports.
