We investigate the sensitivity of the differential cross section, recoil nucleon polarization and the photon asymmetry to changes in the elementary amplitude, medium modifications of the resonance $(S_{11},D_{13})$ masses, as well as nuclear target effects. All calculations are performed within a relativistic plane wave impulse approximation formalism resulting in analytical expressions for all observables. The spin observables are shown to be unique tools to study subtle effects that are not accessible by only looking at the unpolarized differential cross section.
Differential and total cross sections for the quasifree reactions $gamma prightarroweta p$ and $gamma nrightarroweta n$ have been determined at the MAMI-C electron accelerator using a liquid deuterium target. Photons were produced via bremsstrahlung
The photoproduction of $eta^{}$-mesons from different nuclei has been measured using the Crystal Barrel(CB)/TAPS detector system at the ELSA accelerator facility in Bonn. Recent results on the in-medium properties of the $eta^{}$-meson, derived from
We investigate the eta photoproduction using the effective Lagrangian approach at the tree level. We focus on the new nucleon resonance N*(1675), which was reported by the GRAAL, CB-ELSA and Tohoku LNS, testing its possible spin and parity states the
Coherent photoproduction of $eta$-mesons off $^3$He, i.e. the reaction $gamma ^3{He}rightarrow eta ^3{He}$, has been investigated in the near-threshold region. The experiment was performed at the Glasgow tagged photon facility of the Mainz MAMI accel
Quasi-free photoproduction of $eta$-mesons has been measured off nucleons bound in $^3$He nuclei for incident photon energies from the threshold region up to 1.4 GeV. The experiment was performed at the tagged photon facility of the Mainz MAMI accele
