We deal with the Hamiltonian hierarchy problem of the Hulth{e}n potential within the frame of the supersymmetric quantum mechanics and find that the associated superymmetric partner potentials simulate the effect of the centrifugal barrier. Incorporating the supersymmetric solutions and using the first-order perturbation theory we obtain an expression for the energy levels of theHulth{e}n potential which gives satisfactory values for the non-zero angular momentum states.

In this work we study the Dirac equation with vector and scalar potentials in the spacetime generated by a cosmic string. Using an approximation for the centrifugal term, a solution for the radial differential equation is obtained. We consider the sc attering states under the Hulth{e}n potential and obtain the phase shifts. From the poles of the scattering $S$-matrix the states energies are determined as well.

An analytical solution for the Davydov-Chaban Hamiltonian with a sextic oscillator potential for the variable $beta$ and $gamma$ fixed to $30^{circ}$, is proposed. The model is conventionally called Z(4)-Sextic. For the considered potential shapes th e solution is exact for the ground and $beta$ bands, while for the $gamma$ band an approximation is adopted. Due to the scaling property of the problem the energy and $B(E2)$ transition ratios depend on a single parameter apart from an integer number which limits the number of allowed states. For certain constraints imposed on the free parameter, which lead to simpler special potentials, the energy and $B(E2)$ transition ratios are parameter independent. The energy spectra of the ground and first $beta$ and $gamma$ bands as well as the corresponding $B(E2)$ transitions, determined with Z(4)-Sextic, are studied as function of the free parameter and presented in detail for the special cases. Numerical applications are done for the $^{128,130,132}$Xe and $^{192,194,196}$Pt isotopes, revealing a qualitative agreement with experiment and a phase transition in Xe isotopes.
A general form of the effective mass Schrodinger equation is solved exactly for Hulthen potential. Nikiforov-Uvarov method is used to obtain energy eigenvalues and the corresponding wave functions. A free parameter is used in the transformation of the wave function.
The Klein-Gordon equation in the presence of a spatially one-dimensional Hulthen potential is solved exactly and the scattering solutions are obtained in terms of hypergeometric functions. The transmission coefficient is derived by the matching condi tions on the wavefunctions and the condition for the existence of transmission resonances are investigated. It is shown how the zero-reflection condition depends on the shape of the potential.
Approximate bound state solutions of the Dirac equation with the Hulthen plus a new generalized ring-shaped (RS) potential are obtained for any arbitrary -state. The energy eigenvalue equation and the corresponding two-component wave function are cal culated by solving the radial and angular wave equations within a recently introduced shortcut of Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method. The solutions of the radial and polar angular parts of the wave function are given in terms of the Jacobi polynomials. We use an exponential approximation in terms of the Hulthen potential parameters to deal with the strong singular centrifugal potential term Under the limiting case, the solution can be easily reduced to the solution of the Schrodinger equation with a new ring-shaped Hulthen potential.
