The NA60 experiment studies dimuon production in In-In and p-A collisions at the CERN SPS. We report recent results on jpsi production, measured through its muon pair decay. As a function of centrality, we show that in In-In the jpsi yield is suppressed beyond expectations from nuclear absorption. We present also for the first time results on jpsi production in p-A collisions at 158 GeV, the same energy of the nucleus-nucleus data. For both p-A and In-In we show preliminary results on psip suppression. Finally, we have studied the kinematical distributions of the jpsi produced in In-In collisions. We present results on transverse momentum and rapidity, as well as on the angular distribution of the jpsi decay products.

The preliminary results of J/psi spectra at high transverse momentum (5<p_T<14 GeV/c) in p+p and Cu+Cu collisions at s_NN = 200 GeV are reported. The nuclear modification factor is measured to be 0.9+/-0.2 at p_T>5 GeV/c. The correlations between J/p si and charged hadrons are also studied in p+p collisions to understand the J/psi production mechanism at high p_T.
Measurements of the suppression of the yield per nucleon of J/Psi and Psi production for 800 GeV/c protons incident on heavy relative to light nuclear targets have been made with very broad coverage in xF and pT. The observed suppression is smallest at xF values of 0.25 and below and increases at larger values of xF. It is also strongest at small pT. Substantial differences between the Psi and J/Psi are observed for the first time in p-A collisions. The suppression for the Psi is stronger than that for the J/Psi for xF near zero, but becomes comparable to that for the J/Psi for xF > 0.6.
The STAR collaboration at RHIC presents measurements of Jpsi$to{e^+e^-}$ at mid-rapidity and high transverse momentum ($p_T>5$ GeV/$c$) in pp and central cucu collisions at sNN = 200 GeV. The inclusive Jpsi production cross section for cucu collision s is found to be consistent at high $p_T$ with the binary collision-scaled cross section for pp collisions, in contrast to previous measurements at lower $p_T$, where a suppression of Jpsi production is observed relative to the expectation from binary scaling. Azimuthal correlations of $J/psi$ with charged hadrons in pp collisions provide an estimate of the contribution of $B$-meson decays to Jpsi production of $13% pm 5%$.

The results on J/psi pT spectra in 200 GeV p+p and Au+Au collisions at STAR with pT in the range of 3-10 GeV/c are presented. Nuclear modification factor of high-pT J/psi is found to be consistent with no suppression in peripheral Au+Au collisions an d significantly smaller than unity in central Au+Au collisions. The J/psi elliptic flow is measured to be consistent with no flow at pT < 10 GeV/c in 20-60% Au+Au collisions.
We report on a polarization measurement of inclusive $J/psi$ mesons in the di-electron decay channel at mid-rapidity at 2 $<p_{T}<$ 6 GeV/$c$ in $p+p$ collisions at $sqrt{s}$ = 200 GeV. Data were taken with the STAR detector at RHIC. The $J/psi$ pola rization measurement should help to distinguish between different models of the $J/psi$ production mechanism since they predict different $p_{T}$ dependences of the $J/psi$ polarization. In this analysis, $J/psi$ polarization is studied in the helicity frame. The polarization parameter $lambda_{theta}$ measured at RHIC becomes smaller towards high $p_{T}$, indicating more longitudinal $J/psi$ polarization as $p_{T}$ increases. The result is compared with predictions of presently available models.
