We present STAR results from identified particle spectra measured in $sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 62.4 GeV Au-Au collisions. Particle production and system dynamics are compared to results at $sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 200 GeV. We extract kinetic and chemical freeze-out parameters using blast wave model parameterization and statistical model. We discuss the effect of resonance decays on the extracted kinetic freeze-out parameters.

The intermediate $p_T$ region (2 - 5 GeV/$c$) in central Au+Au collisions at RHIC has a rich physics content. The (anti)proton to pion ratio at the intermediate $p_T$ gives us a powerful tool to investigate the bulk properties of the hot and dense ma tter created at RHIC and their hadronization processes. We present the preliminary results of identified charged hadron spectra at the lower beam energies at RHIC. The excitation function of (anti)proton to pion ratios from SPS to RHIC are shown. We also discuss the onset of the baryon enhancement at the high energy heavy ion collisions.
The transverse momentum spectra of different types of particles produced in central and peripheral gold-gold (Au-Au) and (inelastic) proton-proton ($pp$) collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC), as well as in central and peripheral l ead-lead (Pb-Pb) and $pp$ collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) are analyzed by the standard distribution in terms of multi-component. The obtained results from the standard distribution give an approximate agreement with the measured experimental data by the STAR, PHENIX and ALICE Collaborations. The methodical behavior of the effective (kinetic freeze-out) temperature, transverse flow velocity and kinetic freeze-out volume with the mass dependence for different particles is obtained, which observes the early kinetic freeze-out of heavier particles as compared to the lighter particles. The parameters for emissions of different particles are observed to be different, which reveals a direct signature of the mass dependent differential kinetic freeze-out. It is also observed that the peripheral nucleus-nucleus ($AA$) and $pp$ collisions at the same center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair are close in terms of the extracted parameters.

Data from the experiment on the 197Au + 197Au reaction at 23 AMeV are analyzed with an aim to find signatures of exotic nuclear configurations such as toroid-shaped objects. The experimental data are compared with predictions of the ETNA code dedicat ed to look for such configurations and with the QMD model. A novel criterion of selecting events possibly resulting from the formation of exotic freeze-out configurations, the efficiency factor, is tested. Comparison between experimental data and model predictions may indicate for the formation of flat/toroidal nuclear systems.
Isotope temperatures from double ratios of hydrogen, helium, lithium, beryllium, and carbon isotopic yields, and excited-state temperatures from yield ratios of particle-unstable resonances in 4He, 5Li, and 8Be, were determined for spectator fragment ation, following collisions of 197Au with targets ranging from C to Au at incident energies of 600 and 1000 MeV per nucleon. A deviation of the isotopic from the excited-state temperatures is observed which coincides with the transition from residue formation to multi-fragment production, suggesting a chemical freeze-out prior to thermal freeze-out in bulk disintegrations.

An estimate of the average freeze-out volume for multifragmentation events is presented. Values of volumes are obtained by means of a simulation using the experimental charged product partitions measured by the 4pi multidetector INDRA for 129Xe centr al collisions on Sn at 32 AMeV incident energy. The input parameters of the simulation are tuned by means of the comparison between the experimental and simulated velocity (or energy) spectra of particles and fragments.
