The effects of nuclear re-interactions in quasi elastic and resonant neutrino interactions have been considered in the framework of the nuclear models of the DPMJET code. A preliminary investigation on the modifications induced on the final state has been performed. Some consequences affecting the experimental identification are discussed.

The effects of nuclear re-interactions in the quasi-elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering are investigated with a phenomenological model. We found that the nuclear responses are lowered and their maxima are shifted towards higher excitation energies. T his is reflected on the total neutrino-nucleus cross section in a general reduction of about 15% for neutrino energies above 300 MeV.

The quasi-elastic contribution of the nuclear inclusive electron scattering model developed in A. Gil, J. Nieves, and E. Oset: Nucl. Phys. A 627 (1997) 543; is extended to the study of electroweak Charged Current (CC) induced nuclear reactions at int ermediate energies of interest for future neutrino oscillation experiments. The model accounts for long range nuclear (RPA) correlations, Final State Interaction and Coulomb corrections. RPA correlations are shown to play a crucial role in the whole range of neutrino energies, up to 500 MeV, studied in this work. Predictions for inclusive muon capture for different nuclei, and for the reactions $^{12}$C$( u_mu,mu^-)X$ and $^{12}$C$( u_e,e^-)X$ near threshold are also given.

An accurate description of the nuclear response functions for neutrino scattering in the Gev region is essential for the interpretation of present and future neutrino oscillation experiments. Due to the close similarity of electromagnetic and weak sc attering processes, we will review the status of the scaling approach and of relativistic modeling for the inclusive electron scattering response functions in the quasielastic and $Delta$-resonance regions. In particular, recent studies have been focused on scaling violations and the degree to which these imply modifications of existing predictions for neutrino reactions. We will discuss sources and magnitude of such violations, emphasizing similarities and differences between electron and neutrino reactions.

We discuss some nuclear effects, RPA correlations and 2p2h (multinucleon) mechanisms, on charged-current neutrino-nucleus reactions that do not produce a pion in the final state. We study a wide range of neutrino energies, from few hundreds of MeV up to 10 GeV. We also examine the influence of 2p2h mechanisms on the neutrino energy reconstruction.

In the study of neutrino and antineutrino interactions in the GeV regime, kinematic imbalances of the final-state particles have sensitivities to different nuclear effects. Previous ideas based on neutrino quasielastic interactions [Phys. Rev. C94, 0 15503 (2016), Phys. Rev. C95, 065501 (2017)] are now generalized to antineutrino quasielastic interactions, as well as neutrino and antineutrino pion productions. Measurements of these generalized final-state correlations could provide unique and direct constraints on the nuclear response inherently different for neutrinos and antineutrinos, and therefore delineate effects that could mimic charge-parity violation in neutrino oscillations.
