We investigate the pure penguin process $B^-to pi^-phi$ using QCD factorization approach to calculate hadronic matrix elements to the $alpha_s$ order in some well-known NP models. It is shown that the NP contributions in R-parity conserved SUSY models and 2HDMs are not enough to saturate the experimental upper bounds for $Bto phi pi$. We have shown that the flavor changing $Z^prime$ models can make the branching ratios of $Bto phi pi$ to saturate the bound under all relevant experimental constraints.

We investigate the effect of an extra fourth quark generation and FCNC mediated $Z$ and $Z$ bosons on the rare decay mode $B^- to phi pi^-$. In the standard model, this mode receives only $b to d$ penguin contributions and therefore, highly suppresse d with branching ratio $sim 5 times 10^{-9}$. This in turn makes this mode a very sensitive probe for new physics. We find that due to the above mentioned new physics contributions there is a significant enhancement in its branching ratio. Furthermore, the direct CP violation parameter which is identically zero in the SM is found to be quite significant. If this mode will be observed in the upcoming LHCb experiment, it will not only provide a clear signal of new physics but also can be used to constrain the new physics parameter space.

We report on recent results on nucleon structure that are helping guide the search for new physics at the precision frontier. Results discussed include the electroweak elastic form factors, charge symmetry breaking in parton distributions and the strangeness content of the nucleon.
Recent results on the searches for new physics in ep collisions at HERA using the ZEUS and H1 detectors are presented. No evidence for excited fermions or supersymmetric particles within the context of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model nor R- parity violation has been found using an integrated luminosity of up to 20 inv pb. New limits have therefore been established.
It is interesting to search for new physics beyond the standard model at LHCb. We suggest that weak decays of doubly charmed baryon such as $Xi_{cc}(3520)^+, Xi_{cc}^{++}$ to charmless final states would be a possible signal for new physics. In this work, we consider two models, i.e. the unparticle and $Z$ as examples to study such possibilities. We also discuss the cases for $Xi^0_{bb}, Xi_{bb}^-$ which have not been observed yet, but one can expect to find them when LHCb begins running. Our numerical results show that these two models cannot result in sufficiently large decay widths, therefore if such modes are observed at LHCb, there must be a new physics other than the unparticle or $Z$ models.
We inspect the exclusive hadronic decay modes $ B_dto phi (eta^{()}, pi, omega)$, induced by quark level transition as $bto d$ $(Delta S=0)$, in vector like down quark model. As these decay modes insist highly suppressed followed by the predicted bra nching fraction $mathcal{O}(10^{-9})$ which reflects to scrutinize physics beyond the standard model. We constrain the new parameter space inferred from experimental limits on leptonic $B_dto ell ell(ell=e, mu, tau)$ and nonleptonic decay modes $B_d to eta pi^0$ and $B_uto rho^- eta$. We then check the new physics contributions can have significant impact on the prominent observable so called branching ratio of $B_dto phi (eta^{()},pi, omega)$ processes.
