The proton diffractive structure function $F_2^{D(3)}$ measured in the H1 and ZEUS experiments at HERA are analysed in terms of perturbative QCD in the perspective of the QCD extrapolation to the Tevatron and the LHC. It is shown that both data sets can be well described by a QCD analysis in which point-like parton distributions, evolving according to the next-leading DGLAP equations, are assigned to the leading and sub-leading Regge exchanges. For present data from H1 and ZEUS the gluon distributions are found to be quite different and we give the corresponding sets of quark and gluon parton distributions for the Pomeron, extracted from the two experiments. An extrapolation to the Tevatron range is compared with CDF data on single diffraction. Conclusions on factorization breaking between HERA and Tevatron critically depend on whether H1 (strong violation) or ZEUS (compatibility at low $beta$) fits are taken into account. Using the double Pomeron formulation in central diffractive dijet production we show that the Tevatron mass fraction is much sensitive to the high $beta$ tail of the gluon in the Pomeron, suggesting a new way of handling the otherwise badly known gluon distribution in the Pomeron. Extrapolation of the fits to very high $Q^2$ are given since they will be relevant for QCD and diffraction studies at the LHC.

In this short report, we discuss the Jet Physics results and perspectives at HERA, Tevatron and LHC.
The CDF collaboration has set lower limits on the masses of the Z bosons occurring in a range of E_6 GUT based models. We revisit their analysis and extend it to certain other E_6 scenarios as well as to some general classes of models satisfying the anomaly cancellation conditions, which are not included in the CDF analysis. We also suggest a Bayesian statistical method for finding exclusion limits on the Z mass, which allows one to explore a wide range of the U(1) gauge coupling parameter. This method also takes into account the effects of interference between the Z and the SM gauge bosons.

We present the mini-proceedings of the workshop on ``Photoproduction at collider energies: from RHIC and HERA to the LHC held at the European Centre for Theoretical Studies in Nuclear Physics and Related Areas (ECT*, Trento) from January 15 to 19, 20 07. The workshop gathered both theorists and experimentalists to discuss the current status of investigations of high-energy photon-induced processes at different colliders (HERA, RHIC, and Tevatron) as well as preparations for extension of these studies at the LHC. The main physics topics covered were: (i) small-$x$ QCD in photoproduction studies with protons and in electromagnetic (aka. ultraperipheral) nucleus-nucleus collisions, (ii) hard diffraction physics at hadron colliders, and (iii) photon-photon collisions at very high energies: electroweak and beyond the Standard Model processes. These mini-proceedings consist of an introduction and short summaries of the talks presented at the meeting.

A Regge pole model for Pomeron-Pomeron total cross section in the resonance region $sqrt{M^2}le$ 5 GeV is presented. The cross section is saturated by direct-channel contributions from the Pomeron as well as from two different $f$ trajectories, accom panied by the isolated f$_0(500)$ resonance which dominates the $sqrt{M^{2}}lesssim 1$ GeV region. A slowly varying background is taken into account. The calculated Pomeron-Pomeron total cross section cannot be measured directly, but is an essential part of central diffractive processes. In preparation of future calculations of central resonance production at the hadron level, and corresponding measurements at the LHC, we normalize the Pomeron-Pomeron cross section at large masses $sigma_{t}^{PP} (sqrt{M^2}rightarrow infty) approx$ 1 mb as suggested by QCD-motivated estimates.
