We use the transverse-momentum dependence of the cross section for diffractive dissociation of high energy pions to two jets to study some non-perturbative Light-Cone wave functions of the pion. We compare the predictions for this distribution by Gaussian and Coulomb wave functions as well as the wave function derived from solution of the Light-Cone Hamiltonian in the Singlet Model. We conclude that this experimentally measured information provides a powerful tool for these studies.
We calculate the two-pion wave function in the ground state of the I=2 $S$-wave system and find the interaction range between two pions, which allows us to examine the validity of the necessary condition for the finite-volume method for the scatterin
We compute non-perturbatively the evolution of the twist-2 operators corresponding to the average momentum of non-singlet quark densities. The calculation is based on a finite-size technique, using the Schrodinger Functional, in quenched QCD. We find
Current all-orders proofs of factorization of hard processes are made by extracting the leading power behavior of Feynman graphs, i.e., by extracting asymptotics strictly order-by-order in perturbation theory. The resulting parton densities and fragm
It has been conjectured that duality cascade occurs in the $mathcal{N}=3$ supersymmetric Yang-Mills Chern-Simons theory with the gauge group $U(N )_k times U(N+M )_{-k}$ coupled to two bi-fundamental hypermultiplets. The brane picture suggests that t
Quantum mechanics is an extremely successful theory that agrees with every experiment. However, the principle of linear superposition, a central tenet of the theory, apparently contradicts a commonplace observation: macroscopic objects are never foun
