Using data from Fermilab fixed-target experiment E769, we have measured particle-antiparticle production asymmetries for Lambda0 hyperons in 250 GeV/c pi+-, K+- and p -- nucleon interactions. The asymmetries are measured as functions of Feynman-x (x_F) and p_t^2 over the ranges -0.12<=x_F<=0.12 and 0<=p_t^2<=3 (GeV/c)^2 (for positive beam) and -0.12<=x_F<=0.4 and 0<=p_t^2<=10 (GeV/c)^2 (for negative beam). We find substantial asymmetries, even at x_F around zero. We also observe leading-particle-type asymmetries. These latter effects are qualitatively as expected from valence-quark content of the target and variety of projectiles studied.

We present recent results of single-spin asymmetry $A_N$ measurements in $pi^0$ inclusive production. Asymmetry was measured in $pi^-p$ and $pp$ interactions at 40 and 70 GeV correspondingly. Significant asymmetry was observed in the polarized target fragmentation region. The results are in agreement with universal threshold of single-spin asymmetry.
Precise knowledge of hadron production rates in the generation of neutrino beams is necessary for accelerator-based neutrino experiments to achieve their physics goals. NA61/SHINE, a large-acceptance hadron spectrometer, has recorded hadron+nucleus i nteractions relevant to ongoing and future long-baseline neutrino experiments at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. This paper presents three analyses of interactions of 60 GeV/$c$ $pi^+$ with thin, fixed carbon and beryllium targets. Integrated production and inelastic cross sections were measured for both of these reactions. In an analysis of strange, neutral hadron production, differential production multiplicities of $K^0_{S}$, $Lambda$ and anti-$Lambda$ were measured. Lastly, in an analysis of charged hadron production, differential production multiplicities of $pi^+$, $pi^-$, $K^+$, $K^-$ and protons were measured. These measurements will enable long-baseline neutrino experiments to better constrain predictions of their neutrino flux in order to achieve better precision on their neutrino cross section and oscillation measurements.

We present asymmetries between the production of D+ and D- mesons in Fermilab experiment E791 as a function of xF and pt**2. The data used here consist of 74,000 fully-reconstructed charmed mesons produced by a 500 GeV/c pi- beam on C and Pt foils. T he measurements are compared to results of models which predict differences between the production of heavy-quark mesons that have a light quark in common with the beam (leading particles) and those that do not (non-leading particles). While the default models do not agree with our data, we can reach agreement with one of them, PYTHIA, by making a limited number of changes to parameters used.
This paper presents several measurements of total production cross sections and total inelastic cross sections for the following reactions: $pi^{+}$+C, $pi^{+}$+Al, $K^{+}$+C, $K^{+}$+Al at 60 GeV/c, $pi^{+}$+C and $pi^{+}$+Al at 31 GeV/c . The measu rements were made using the NA61/SHINE spectrometer at the CERN SPS. Comparisons with previous measurements are given and good agreement is seen. These interaction cross sections measurements are a key ingredient for neutrino flux prediction from the reinteractions of secondary hadrons in current and future accelerator-based long-baseline neutrino experiments.
Inclusive production of $Lambda$-hyperons was measured with the large acceptance NA61/SHINE spectrometer at the CERN SPS in inelastic p+p interactions at beam momentum of 158~GeVc. Spectra of transverse momentum and transverse mass as well as distrib utions of rapidity and x$_{_F}$ are presented. The mean multiplicity was estimated to be $0.120,pm0.006;(stat.),pm 0.010;(sys.)$. The results are compared with previous measurements and predictions of the EPOS, UrQMD and FRITIOF models.
