The accuracy in position and flux density of 19 large radio continuum source catalogues has been determined using SPECFIND, a new tool recently made available through the CDS. The ~67000 radio continuum spectra with three or more frequencies produced by SPECFIND were used to cross-correlate sources from different catalogues and to calculate offsets in right ascension and declination in the various catalogues with respect to the positions given in the NRAO VLA Sky Survey (NVSS) catalogue, which was adopted as a reference. The flux densities reported in the catalogues were compared to those predicted by the composite spectra, enabling us to assess the quality of the flux density calibration of the different catalogues.
We present a series of new high-sensitivity and high-resolution radio-continuum images of M31 at lambda=20 cm ( u=1.4 GHz). These new images were produced by merging archived 20 cm radio-continuum observations from the Very Large Array (VLA) telescop
The new release of the SPECFIND radio cross-identification catalogue, SPECFIND V2.0, is presented. It contains 107488 cross-identified objects with at least three radio sources observed at three independent frequencies. Compared to the previous rel
We present Data Release 2 of the Point Source Catalogue created from a series of previously constructed radio-continuum images of M31 at lambda=20 cm (nu=1.4 GHz) from archived VLA observations. In total, we identify a collection of 916 unique discre
We present a comprehensive multi-frequency catalogue of radio sources behind the Large Magellanic Cloud between 0.2 and 20 GHz, gathered from a combination of new and legacy radio continuum surveys. This catalogue covers an area of $sim$144~deg$^2$ a
Research institutions are bound to contribute to greenhouse gas emission (GHG) reduction efforts for several reasons. First, part of the scientific communitys research deals with climate change issues. Second, scientists contribute to students educat
