We discuss the associated $cbar{c}$ and $l^+l^-$ pairs production in ultraperipheral heavy-ion collisions at high energies. Such a channel provides a novel probe for double-parton scattering (DPS) at small $x$ enabling one to probe the photon density inside the nucleus. We have derived an analog of the standard central $pp$ pocket formula and studied the kinematical dependence of the effective cross section. Taking into account both elastic and non-elastic contributions, we have shown predictions for the DPS $cbar c l^+l^-$ production cross section differential in charm quark rapidity and dilepton invariant mass and rapidity for LHC and a future collider.

The rare top decay t-> c l+l-, which involves flavor violation, is studied as a possible probe of new physics. This decay is analyzed with the simplest Standard Model extensions with additional gauge symmetry formalism. The considered extension is th e Left-Right Symmetric Model, including a new neutral gauge boson Z that allows to obtain the decay at tree level through Flavor Changing Neutral Currents (FCNC) couplings. The neutral gauge boson couplings are considered diagonal but family non-universal in order to induce these FCNC. We find the $BR(t-> c l+l-)~10^{-13} for a range 1 TeV < M_{Z} < 3 TeV.
We study $J/Psi$ production at photon-photon colliders, which can be realised with Compton scaterring of laser photons at $e^+e^-$ colliders. We find that the production rate through the color-octet channel is comparable to that through the color-sin glet channel. Experimentally the two mechanisms can be studied separately because the processes have different signals.
We develop the spectroscopy of $cbar c cbar c$ and other all-heavy tetraquark states in the dynamical diquark model. In the most minimal form of the model (e.g., each diquark appears only in the color-triplet combination; the non-orbital spin couplin gs connect only quarks within each diquark), the spectroscopy is extremely simple. Namely, the $S$-wave multiplets contain precisely 3 degenerate states ($0^{++}$, $1^{+-}$, $2^{++}$) and the 7 $P$-wave states satisfy an equal-spacing rule when the tensor coupling is negligible. When comparing numerically to the recent LHCb results, we find the best interpretation is assigning $X(6900)$ to the $2S$ multiplet, while a lower state suggested at about $6740$ MeV fits well with the members of the $1P$ multiplet. We also predict the location of other multiplets ($1S$, $1D$, etc.) and discuss the significance of the $cc$ open-flavor threshold.
The sensitivity of the LHC experiments to the Standard Model Higgs using $Htotautauto l^+l^-sla{p_t}$ associated with one high $P_T$ jet in the mass range $110 <M_H<150 gev$/c$^2$ is investigated. A cut and Neural Network based event selections are c hosen to optimize the expected signal significance with this decay mode. A signal significance of about $6.6 sigma$ can be achieved for $M_H=120 gev$/c$^2$ with $30 $fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity for one experiment only. With this approach, experimental issues related to tagging forward jets and to the application of a central jet veto are simplified considerably.
The $gamma+gammarightarrow J/psi+c+bar{c}$ inclusive process is an extremely important subprocess in $J/psi$ production via photon-photon scattering, like at LEPuppercaseexpandafter{romannumeral2} or various types future electron-positron colliders. In this work we perform the next-to-leading(NLO) QCD corrections to this process in the framework of non-relativistic QCD(NRQCD) factorization formalism, the first NLO calculation for two projectiles to 3-body quarkonium inclusive production process. By setting the center-of-mass energy at LEPuppercaseexpandafter{romannumeral2}, the $sqrt{s}=197$ GeV, we conduct analyses of the $p_t^2$ distribution and total cross section of this process at the NLO accuracy. It turns out that the total cross section is moderately enhanced by the NLO correction with a $K$ factor of about 1.46, and hence the discrepancy between DELPHI data and color-singlet(CS) calculation is reduced while the color-octet(CO) contributions are still inevitable at this order. At the future Circular Electron-Positron Collider(CEPC), the NLO corrections are found to be more significant, with a $K$ factor of about 1.76.
