We calculated physical and orbital properties for 2M06464003+0109157, a 1.06 day eclipsing double lined spectroscopic binary. We modelled the systems ASAS-SN and TESS light curves, measuring the systems inclination and radii of each component. Extracting radial velocities for each component from 6 SDSS/APOGEE spectra, we measured the systems mass ratio and performed a full orbital fit. Our analysis indicates that 2M06464003+0109157 has components with nearly equal masses ($m_1/m_2 =0.99 pm 0.01$; $M_1{_,}{_2} = 0.57 pm 0.015$ M$_odot$) and comparable radii ($R_1 = 0.66 pm 0.05$ R$_odot$, $R_2 = 0.57 pm 0.06$ R$_odot$). The solution required two star spots to incorporate the out of eclipse variation that is seen in the light curve. We report our full characterization of this system, and prospects for similar analyses using survey data to measure precise physical and orbital properties for EBs.
BVR light curves and radial velocities for the double-lined eclipsing binary V1135,Her were obtained. The brighter component of V1135,Her is a Cepheid variable with a pulsation period of 4.22433$pm$0.00026 days. The orbital period of the system is ab
We report the discovery and characterisation of a new M-dwarf binary, with component masses and radii of M1 = 0.244 -0.003/+0.003 Msun, R1 = 0.261 -0.009/+0.006 Rsun, M2 = 0.179 -0.001/+0.002 Msun, R2 = 0.218 -0.011/+0.007 Rsun, and orbital period of
Multi-color light curves and radial velocities for TYC,1031,1262,1 have been obtained and analyzed. TYC,1031,1262,1 includes a Cepheid with a period of 4.15270$pm$0.00061 days. The orbital period of the system is about 51.2857$pm$0.0174 days. The pul
R144 is a WN6h star in the 30 Doradus region. It is suspected to be a binary because of its high luminosity and its strong X-ray flux, but no periodicity could be established so far. Here, we present new Xshooter multi-epoch spectroscopy of R144 obta
We report the discovery of ZTF J2243+5242, an eclipsing double white dwarf binary with an orbital period of just $8.8$ minutes, the second known eclipsing binary with an orbital period less than ten minutes. The system likely consists of two low-mass
