We measure the impact of nonvanishing boundary localised terms on $Delta B=2$ transitions in five-dimensional Universal Extra Dimensional scenario where masses and coupling strengths of several interactions of Kaluza-Klein modes are significantly modified with respect to the minimal counterpart. In such scenario we estimate the Kaluza-Klein contributions of quarks, gauge bosons and charged Higgs by evaluating the one-loop box diagrams that are responsible for the $Delta B=2$ transitions. Using the loop function (obtained from one-loop box diagrams) we determine several important elements that are involved in Wolfenstein parametrisation. Moreover, with these elements we also study the geometrical shape of unitarity triangle. Besides, we compute the quantity $Delta M_s$ scaled by the corresponding Standard Model value. Outcomes of our theoretical predictions have been compared to the allowed ranges of the corresponding observables simultaneously. Our current analysis shows that, depending on the parameters in this scenario the lower limit on the inverse of the radius of compactification can reach to an appreciable large value ($approx 1.48$ TeV or even higher).

We analyze the semileptonic $Bto K_2^*(1430)l^+l^-$ transition in universal extra dimension model. In particular, we present the sensitivity of related observables such as branching ratio, polarization distribution and forward-backward asymmetry to t he compactification factor (1/R) of extra dimension. The obtained results from extra dimension model show overall a considerable deviation from the standard model predictions for small values of the compactification factor. This can be considered as an indication for existence of extra dimensions.
We present a model-independent anatomy of the $Delta F=2$ transitions $K^0-bar K^0$, $B_{s,d}-bar B_{s,d}$ and $D^0-bar D^0$ in the context of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT). We present two master formulae for the mixing amplitude $big[M_{12} big]_text{BSM}$. One in terms of the Wilson coefficients (WCs) of the Low-Energy Effective Theory (LEFT) operators evaluated at the electroweak scale $mu_text{ew}$ and one in terms of the WCs of the SMEFT operators evaluated at the BSM scale $Lambda$. The coefficients $P_a^{ij}$ entering these formulae contain all the information below the scales $mu_text{ew}$ and $Lambda$, respectively. Renormalization group effects from the top-quark Yukawa coupling play the most important role. The collection of the individual contributions of the SMEFT operators to $big[M_{12}big]_text{BSM}$ can be considered as the SMEFT ATLAS of $Delta F=2$ transitions and constitutes a travel guide to such transitions far beyond the scales explored by the LHC. We emphasize that this ATLAS depends on whether the down-basis or the up-basis for SMEFT operators is considered. We illustrate this technology with tree-level exchanges of heavy gauge bosons ($Z^prime$, $G^prime$) and corresponding heavy scalars.

Non-vanishing boundary localised terms significantly modify the mass spectrum and various interactions among the Kaluza-Klein excited states of 5-Dimensional Universal Extra Dimensional scenario. In this scenario we compute the contributions of Kaluz a-Klein excitations of gauge bosons and third generation quarks for the decay process $Brightarrow X_sell^+ell^-$ incorporating next-to-leading order QCD corrections. We estimate branching ratio as well as Forward Backward asymmetry associated with this decay process. Considering the constraints from some other $b to s$ observables and electroweak precision data we show that significant amount of parameter space of this scenario has been able to explain the observed experimental data for this decay process. From our analysis we put lower limit on the size of the extra dimension by comparing our theoretical prediction for branching ratio with the corresponding experimental data. Depending on the values of free parameters of the present scenario, lower limit on the inverse of the radius of compactification ($R^{-1}$) can be as high as $geq 760$ GeV. {Even this value could slightly be higher if we project the upcoming measurement by Belle II experiment.} Unfortunately, the Forward Backward asymmetry of this decay process would not provide any significant limit on $R^{-1}$ in the present model.

The evolution of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix and the quark Yukawa couplings is performed for the one-loop renormalization group equations in the universal extra dimension model. It is found that the evolution of mixing angles and the CP viol ation measure J may rapidly vary in the presence of the Kaluza-Klein modes, and this variation becomes dramatic as the energy approaches the unification scale.

We present a model for dark matter with extra spatial dimensions in which Standard-Model (SM) fermions have localized wave functions. The underlying gauge group is $G_{rm SM} otimes {rm U}(1)_z$, and the dark matter particle is a SM-singlet Dirac fer mion, $chi$, which is charged under the ${rm U}(1)_z$ gauge symmetry. We show that the conventional wisdom that the mass of a Dirac fermion is naturally at the ultraviolet cutoff scale does not hold in this model. We further demonstrate that this model yields a dark matter relic abundance in agreement with observation and discuss constraints from direct and indirect searches for dark matter. The dark matter particle interacts weakly with matter and has negligibly small self-interactions. Very good fits to data from cosmological observations and experimental dark matter searches are obtained with $m_chi$ in the multi-TeV range. A discussion is given of observational signatures and experimental tests of the model.
