The helicity formalism applied to the radiative decay $Lambda_b^0to pK^-gamma$ is presented for the first time in this paper. The aim is to provide the necessary formalism to be able to resolve the resonant $pK^-$ structures at the photon pole by means of an amplitude analysis. Experimental effects, such as resolution, are also discussed.

Using proton-proton collision data, collected with the LHCb detector and corresponding to 1.0, 2.0 and 1.9fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity at the centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, respectively, the decay $Lambda_b^0to chi_{c1}(3872)pK^-$ with $chi_{c1}to J/psipi^+pi^-$ is observed for the first time. The significance of the observed signal is in excess of seven standard deviations. It is found that $(58pm15)%$ of the decays proceed via the two-body intermediate state $chi_{c1}(3872)Lambda(1520)$. The~branching fraction with respect to that of the $Lambda_brightarrowpsi(2S)p K^{-}$ decay mode, where the $psi(2S)$~meson is reconstructed in the $J/psi pi^+pi^-$ final state, is measured to be: begin{equation*} frac{Lambda_b^0tochi_{c1}(3872)pK^-}{Lambda_btopsi(2S)p K^-} times frac{mathcal{B}(chi_{c1} to J/psi pi^+pi^-)}{mathcal{B}(psi(2S)to J/psi pi^+pi^-)} = left(5.4 pm 1.1 pm 0.2right)times 10^{-2},, end{equation*} where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic.
An amplitude analysis of ${B^0to (pi^+pi^-) (K^+pi^-)}$ decays is performed in the two-body invariant mass regions ${300 < m(pi^+pi^-)<1100}$ MeV/$c^2$, accounting for the $rho^0$, $omega$, $f_0(500)$, $f_0(980)$ and $f_0(1370)$ resonances, and ${750 < m(K^+pi^-)<1200}$ MeV/$c^2$, which is dominated by the $K^{*}(892)^0$ meson. The analysis uses 3 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV. The $CP$ averages and asymmetries are measured for the magnitudes and phase differences of the contributing amplitudes. The $CP$-averaged longitudinal polarisation fractions of the vector-vector modes are found to be $tilde{f}^0_{rho K^{*}} = 0.164 pm 0.015 pm 0.022$ and $tilde{f}^0_{omega K^{*}} = 0.68 pm 0.17 pm 0.16$, and their $CP$ asymmetries, $mathcal{A}^0_{rho K^{*}} = -0.62 pm 0.09 pm 0.09$ and $mathcal{A}^0_{omega K^{*}} = -0.13 pm 0.27 pm 0.13$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic.

We report a new extraction of nucleon resonance couplings using pi- photoproduction cross sections on the neutron. The world database for the process gamma n --> pi- p above 1 GeV has quadrupled with the addition of new differential cross sections fr om the CEBAF Large Acceptance Spectrometer (CLAS) at Jefferson Lab in Hall B. Differential cross sections from CLAS have been improved with a new final-state interaction determination using a diagramatic technique taking into account the NN and piN final-state interaction amplitudes. Resonance couplings have been extracted and compared to previous determinations. With the addition of these new cross sections, significant changes are seen in the high-energy behavior of the SAID cross sections and amplitudes.
An amplitude analysis of the decay $Lambda_b^0to D^0 p pi^-$ is performed in the part of the phase space containing resonances in the $D^0 p$ channel. The study is based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb$^{-1}$ of $ pp$ collisions recorded by the LHCb experiment. The spectrum of excited $Lambda_c^+$ states that decay into $D^0 p$ is studied. The masses, widths and quantum numbers of the $Lambda_c(2880)^+$ and $Lambda_c(2940)^+$ resonances are measured. The constraints on the spin and parity for the $Lambda_c(2940)^+$ state are obtained for the first time. A near-threshold enhancement in the $D^0 p$ amplitude is investigated and found to be consistent with a new resonance, denoted the $Lambda_c(2860)^+$, of spin $3/2$ and positive parity.
A study of the angular distributions of the processes $Lambda_b to {Lambda} V(1^-)$ with $V ({J/Psi,rho}^0)$ is performed. Emphasis is put on the initial $Lambda_b$ polarization and the polarization density-matrices are derived to perform tests of both Time-Reversal (TR) and CP violation.
