The helicity formalism applied to the radiative decay $Lambda_b^0to pK^-gamma$ is presented for the first time in this paper. The aim is to provide the necessary formalism to be able to resolve the resonant $pK^-$ structures at the photon pole by means of an amplitude analysis. Experimental effects, such as resolution, are also discussed.
Using proton-proton collision data, collected with the LHCb detector and corresponding to 1.0, 2.0 and 1.9fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity at the centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, respectively, the decay $Lambda_b^0to chi_{c1}(3872)pK^-$
An amplitude analysis of ${B^0to (pi^+pi^-) (K^+pi^-)}$ decays is performed in the two-body invariant mass regions ${300 < m(pi^+pi^-)<1100}$ MeV/$c^2$, accounting for the $rho^0$, $omega$, $f_0(500)$, $f_0(980)$ and $f_0(1370)$ resonances, and ${750
We report a new extraction of nucleon resonance couplings using pi- photoproduction cross sections on the neutron. The world database for the process gamma n --> pi- p above 1 GeV has quadrupled with the addition of new differential cross sections fr
An amplitude analysis of the decay $Lambda_b^0to D^0 p pi^-$ is performed in the part of the phase space containing resonances in the $D^0 p$ channel. The study is based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb$^{-1}$ of $
A study of the angular distributions of the processes $Lambda_b to {Lambda} V(1^-)$ with $V ({J/Psi,rho}^0)$ is performed. Emphasis is put on the initial $Lambda_b$ polarization and the polarization density-matrices are derived to perform tests of both Time-Reversal (TR) and CP violation.
