The measurement of $K^{*}(892)^0$ resonance production via its $K^{+}pi^{-}$ decay mode in inelastic p+p collisions at beam momentum 158 GeV/$c$ ($sqrt{s_{NN}}=17.3$ GeV) is presented. The data were recorded by the NA61/SHINE hadron spectrometer at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron. The textit{template} method was used to extract the $K^{*}(892)^0$ signal and double differential transverse momentum and rapidity spectra were obtained. The full phase-space mean multiplicity of $K^{*}(892)^0$ mesons was found to be $(78.44 pm 0.38 mathrm{(stat)} pm 6.0 mathrm{(sys)) cdot 10^{-3}}$. The NA61/SHINE results are compared with the EPOS1.99 and Hadron Resonance Gas models as well as with world data from p+p and nucleus-nucleus collisions.

The production of $K^{0}_{S}$ mesons in inelastic $textit{p+p}$ collisions at beam momentum 158 GeV/c ($sqrt{s_{NN}}=17.3$ GeV) was measured with the NA61/SHINE spectrometer at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron. Double-differential distributions were obtained in transverse momentum and rapidity. The mean multiplicity of $K^{0}_{S}$ was determined to be $0.162 pm 0.001 (stat.) pm 0.015 (sys.)$. The results on $K^{0}_{S}$ production are compared with model predictions (EPOS 1.99, SMASH 2.0, PHSD and UrQMD 3.4 models) as well as with published world data.
Results on $phi$ meson production in inelastic p+p collisions at CERN SPS energies are presented. They are derived from data collected by the NA61/SHINE fixed target experiment, by means of invariant mass spectra fits in the $phi to K^+K^-$ decay cha nnel. They include the first ever measured double differential spectra of $phi$ mesons as a function of rapidity $y$ and transverse momentum $p_T$ for proton beam momenta of 80 GeV/c and 158 GeV/c, as well as single differential spectra of $y$ or $p_T$ for beam momentum of 40 GeV/c. The corresponding total $phi$ yields per inelastic p+p event are obtained. These results are compared with existing data on $phi$ meson production in p+p collisions. The comparison shows consistency but superior accuracy of the present measurements. The emission of $phi$ mesons in p+p reactions is confronted with that occurring in Pb+Pb collisions, and the experimental results are compared with model predictions. It appears that none of the considered models can properly describe all the experimental observables.
Production of the $K^{ast}(892)^0$ and $bar{K}^{ast}(892)^0$ resonances was studied via their $K^+ pi^-$ and $K^- pi^+$ decay modes in central Pb+Pb, Si+Si, C+C and inelastic p+p collisions at 158agev ($sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 17.3 GeV) with the NA49 detecto r at the CERN SPS. Transverse momentum and rapidity distributions were measured and total yields were estimated. The yield of $K^{ast}$ exceeds that of $bar{K}^{ast}$ by about a factor of two in nucleus-nucleus reactions. The total yield ratios $< K^{ast} >/< K^+ >$ and $< bar{K}^{ast} >/< K^->$ are strongly suppressed in central Pb+Pb compared to p+p, C+C and Si+Si collisions in agreement with the expected attenuation of these short-lived resonance states in the hadronic phase of the expanding fireball. The UrQMD model, although incorporating such a scenario, does not provide a quantitative description of the experimental results. The statistical hadron gas model assuming the same freeze-out parameters for stable hadrons and resonances overestimates the $< K^{ast} >/< K >$ ratios in central Pb+Pb collisions by about a factor of 2.5.
Measurements of inclusive spectra and mean multiplicities of $pi^pm$, K$^pm$, p and $bar{textrm{p}}$ produced in inelastic p+p interactions at incident projectile momenta of 20, 31, 40, 80 and 158 GeV/c ($sqrt{s} = $ 6.3, 7.7, 8.8, 12.3 and 17.3 GeV, respectively) were performed at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron using the large acceptance NA61/SHINE hadron spectrometer. Spectra are presented as function of rapidity and transverse momentum and are compared to predictions of current models. The measurements serve as the baseline in the NA61/SHINE study of the properties of the onset of deconfinement and search for the critical point of strongly interacting matter.
Inclusive production of $Lambda$-hyperons was measured with the large acceptance NA61/SHINE spectrometer at the CERN SPS in inelastic p+p interactions at beam momentum of 158~GeVc. Spectra of transverse momentum and transverse mass as well as distrib utions of rapidity and x$_{_F}$ are presented. The mean multiplicity was estimated to be $0.120,pm0.006;(stat.),pm 0.010;(sys.)$. The results are compared with previous measurements and predictions of the EPOS, UrQMD and FRITIOF models.
