Precision predictions play an important role in the search for indirect New Physics effects in the Higgs sector itself. For the electroweak (EW) corrections of the Higgs bosons in extended Higgs sectors several renormalization schemes have been worked out that provide gauge-parameter-independent relations between the input parameters and the computed observables. Our recently published program codes 2HDECAY and ewN2HDECAY allow for the computation of the EW corrections to the Higgs decay widths and branching ratios of the Two-Higgs-Doublet Model (2HDM) and the Next-to-Minimal-2HDM (N2HDM) for different renormalization schemes of the scalar mixing angles. In this paper, we present a comprehensive and complete overview over the relative size of the EW corrections to the branching ratios of the 2HDM and N2HDM neutral Higgs bosons for different applied renormalization schemes. We quantify the size of the EW corrections of Standard Model(SM)- and non-SM-like Higgs bosons and moreover also identify renormalization schemes that are well-behaved and do not induce unnaturally large corrections. We furthermore pin down decays and parameter regions that feature large EW corrections and need further treatment in order to improve the predictions. Our study sets the scene for future work in the computation of higher-order corrections to the decays of non-minimal Higgs sectors.

We compute the dominant two-loop corrections to the Higgs trilinear coupling $lambda_{hhh}$ and to the Higgs quartic coupling $lambda_{hhhh}$ in models with extended Higgs sectors, using the effective-potential approximation. We provide in this paper all necessary details about our calculations, and present general $overline{text{MS}}$ expressions for derivatives of the integrals appearing in the effective potential at two loops. We also consider three particular Beyond-the-Standard-Model (BSM) scenarios -- namely a typical scenario of an Inert Doublet Model (IDM), and scenarios of a Two-Higgs-Doublet Model (2HDM) and of a Higgs Singlet Model (HSM) without scalar mixing -- and we include all the necessary finite counterterms to obtain (in addition to $overline{text{MS}}$ results) on-shell scheme expressions for the corrections to the Higgs self-couplings. With these analytic results, we investigate the possible magnitude of two-loop BSM contributions to the Higgs self-couplings and the fate of the non-decoupling effects that are known to appear at one loop. We find that, at least as long as pertubative unitarity conditions are fulfilled, the size of two-loop corrections remains well below that of one-loop corrections. Typically, two-loop contributions to $lambda_{hhh}$ amount to approximately 20% of those at one loop, implying that the non-decoupling effects observed at one loop are not significantly modified, but also meaning that higher-order corrections need to be taken into account for the future perspective of precise measurements of the Higgs trilinear coupling.
We discuss how one can identify CP violation (and conservation) in multi-Higgs-doublet potentials. After a brief review of CP violation in the 2HDM, we refer to the fact that for NHDM with $N geq 3$ the well known methods useful in the case $N = 2$ h ave not been generalized in order to provide a set of well defined necessary and sufficient conditions for CP conservation. We then present a simple method, proposed by the authors, to be used in such cases. Two non-trivial examples based on an $S_3$-symmetric three-doublet model are analyzed by means of this new method.

Recent experimental results on exclusive semi-tauonic B meson decays show sizable deviations from the standard model prediction, while the recent result on pure-tauonic decay reduces the deviation from the prediction. These results suggest an indirec t evidence of new physics in which the structure of the relevant weak charged interaction may differ from that of the standard model. We study these tauonic B decays in the context of extensions of the Higgs sector. As a result, we find that two Higgs doublet models without tree-level FCNC are unlikely to explain the present experimental data while those allowing FCNC are consistent with the data.

Results for the complete NLO electroweak corrections to Standard Model Higgs production via gluon fusion are included in the total cross section for hadronic collisions. Artificially large threshold effects are avoided working in the complex-mass sch eme. The numerical impact at LHC (Tevatron) energies is explored for Higgs mass values up to 500 GeV (200 GeV). Assuming a complete factorization of the electroweak corrections, one finds a +5 % shift with respect to the NNLO QCD cross section for a Higgs mass of 120 GeV both at the LHC and the Tevatron. Adopting two different factorization schemes for the electroweak effects, an estimate of the corresponding total theoretical uncertainty is computed.

In supersymmetric theories, the decays of the neutral CP-even and CP-odd as well as the charged Higgs bosons into scalar quarks, in particular into top and bottom squarks, can be dominant if they are kinematically allowed. We calculate the QCD correc tions to these decay modes in the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model, including all quark mass terms and squark mixing. These corrections turn out to be rather large, altering the decay widths by an amount which can be larger than 50%. The corrections can be either positive or negative, and depend strongly on the mass of the gluino. We also discuss the QCD corrections to the decays of heavy scalar quarks into light scalar quarks and Higgs bosons.
