Power systems are growing rapidly, due to the ever-increasing demand for electrical power. These systems require novel methodologies and modern tools and technologies, to better perform, particularly for communication among different parts. Therefore, power systems are facing new challenges such as energy trading and marketing and cyber threats. Using blockchain in power systems, as a solution, is one of the newest methods. Most studies aim to investigate innovative approach-es of blockchain application in power systems. Even though, many articles published to support the research activities, there has not been any bibliometric analysis which specifies the research trends. This paper aims to present a bibliographic analysis of the blockchain application in power systems related literature, in the Web of Science (WoS) database between January 2009 and July 2019. This paper discusses the research activities and performed a detailed analysis by looking at the number of articles published, citations, institutions, research areas, and authors. From the analysis, it was concluded that there are several significant impacts of research activities in China and the USA, in comparison to other countries.

Blockchain technology, and more specifically Bitcoin (one of its foremost applications), have been receiving increasing attention in the scientific community. The first publications with Bitcoin as a topic, can be traced back to 2012. In spite of thi s short time span, the production magnitude (1162 papers) makes it necessary to make a bibliometric study in order to observe research clusters, emerging topics, and leading scholars. Our paper is aimed at studying the scientific production only around bitcoin, excluding other blockchain applications. Thus, we restricted our search to papers indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection, whose topic is bitcoin. This database is suitable for such diverse disciplines such as economics, engineering, mathematics, and computer science. This bibliometric study draws the landscape of the current state and trends of Bitcoin-related research in different scientific disciplines.
In this study, we apply co-word analysis - a text mining technique based on the co-occurrence of terms - to map the topology of software testing research topics, with the goal of providing current and prospective researchers with a map, and observati ons about the evolution, of the software testing field. Our analysis enables the mapping of software testing research into clusters of connected topics, from which emerge a total of 16 high-level research themes and a further 18 subthemes. This map also suggests topics that are growing in importance, including topics related to web and mobile applications and artificial intelligence. Exploration of author and country-based collaboration patterns offers similar insight into the implicit and explicit factors that influence collaboration and suggests emerging sources of collaboration for future work. We make our observations - and the underlying mapping of research topics and research collaborations - available so that researchers can gain a deeper understanding of the topology of the software testing field, inspiration regarding new areas and connections to explore, and collaborators who will broaden their perspectives.

In the past decade, blockchain has shown a promising vision greatly to build the trust without any powerful third party in a secure, decentralized and salable manner. However, due to the wide application and future development from cryptocurrency to Internet of Things, blockchain is an extremely complex system enabling integration with mathematics, finance, computer science, communication and network engineering, etc. As a result, it is a challenge for engineer, expert and researcher to fully understand the blockchain process in a systematic view from top to down. First, this article introduces how blockchain works, the research activity and challenge, and illustrates the roadmap involving the classic methodology with typical blockchain use cases and topics. Second, in blockchain system, how to adopt stochastic process, game theory, optimization, machine learning and cryptography to study blockchain running process and design blockchain protocol/algorithm are discussed in details. Moreover, the advantage and limitation using these methods are also summarized as the guide of future work to further considered. Finally, some remaining problems from technical, commercial and political views are discussed as the open issues. The main findings of this article will provide an overview in a methodology perspective to study theoretical model for blockchain fundamentals understanding, design network service for blockchain-based mechanisms and algorithms, as well as apply blockchain for Internet of Things, etc.
The complexity of emergent wicked problems, such as climate change, culminates in a reformulation of how we think about society and mobilize scientists from various disciplines to seek solutions and perspectives on the problem. From an epistemologica l point of view, it is essential to evaluate how such topics can be developed inside the academic arena but, to do that, it is necessary to perform complex analysis of the great number of recent academic publications. In this work, we discuss how climate change has been addressed by social sciences in practice. Can we observe the development of a new epistemology by the emergence of the climate change debate? Are there contributions in academic journals within the field of social sciences addressing climate change? Which journals are these? Who are the authors? To answer these questions, we developed an innovative method combining different tools to search, filter, and analyze the impact of the academic production related to climate change in social sciences in the most relevant journals.
Accessibility research sits at the junction of several disciplines, drawing influence from HCI, disability studies, psychology, education, and more. To characterize the influences and extensions of accessibility research, we undertake a study of cita tion trends for accessibility and related HCI communities. We assess the diversity of venues and fields of study represented among the referenced and citing papers of 836 accessibility research papers from ASSETS and CHI, finding that though publications in computer science dominate these citation relationships, the relative proportion of citations from papers on psychology and medicine has grown over time. Though ASSETS is a more niche venue than CHI in terms of citational diversity, both conferences display standard levels of diversity among their incoming and outgoing citations when analyzed in the context of 53K papers from 13 accessibility and HCI conference venues.
