Higher index of signature operator is a far reaching generalization of signature of a closed oriented manifold. When two closed oriented manifolds are homotopy equivalent, one can define a secondary invariant of the relative signature operator called higher rho invariant. The higher rho invariant detects the topological nonrigidity of a manifold. In this paper, we prove product formulas for higher index and higher rho invariant of signature operator on fibered manifolds. Our result implies the classical product formula for numerical signature of fiber manifolds obtained by Chern, Hirzebruch, and Serre in On the index of a fibered manifold. We also give a new proof of the product formula for higher rho invariant of signature operator on product manifolds, which is parallel to the product formula for higher rho invariant of Dirac operator on product manifolds obtained by Xie and Yu in Positive scalar curvature, higher rho invariants and localization algebras and Zeidler in Positive scalar curvature and product formulas for secondary index invariants.

In this paper, we introduce several new secondary invariants for Dirac operators on a complete Riemannian manifold with a uniform positive scalar curvature metric outside a compact set and use these secondary invariants to establish a higher index th eorem for the Dirac operators. We apply our theory to study the secondary invariants for a manifold with corner with positive scalar curvature metric on each boundary face.

In this paper, we define the relative higher $rho$ invariant for orientation preserving homotopy equivalence between PL manifolds with boundary in $K$-theory of the relative obstruction algebra, i.e. the relative analytic structure group. We also sho w that the map induced by the relative higher $rho$ invariant is a group homomorphism from the relative topological structure group to the relative analytic structure group. For this purpose, we generalize Weinberger, Xie and Yus definition of the topological structure group in their article Shmuel Weinberger, Zhizhang Xie, and Guoliang Yu. Additivity of higher rho invariants and nonrigidity of topological manifolds. For every $infty$-category $mathscr{C}$, there is a homotopy $n$-category $mathrm{h}_n mathscr{C}$ and a canonical functor $gamma_n colon mathscr{C} to mathrm{h}_n mathscr{C}$. We study these higher homotopy categories, especially in connection with the existence and preservation of (co)limits, by introducing a higher categorical notion of weak colimit. Based on the idea of the homotopy $n$-category, we introduce the notion of an $n$-derivator and study the main examples arising from $infty$-categories. Following the work of Maltsiniotis and Garkusha, we define $K$-theory for $infty$-derivators and prove that the canonical comparison map from the Waldhausen $K$-theory of $mathscr{C}$ to the $K$-theory of the associated $n$-derivator $mathbb{D}_{mathscr{C}}^{(n)}$ is $(n+1)$-connected. We also prove that this comparison map identifies derivator $K$-theory of $infty$-derivators in terms of a universal property. Moreover, using the canonical structure of higher weak pushouts in the homotopy $n$-category, we define also a $K$-theory space $K(mathrm{h}_n mathscr{C}, mathrm{can})$ associated to $mathrm{h}_n mathscr{C}$. We prove that the canonical comparison map from the Waldhausen $K$-theory of $mathscr{C}$ to $K(mathrm{h}_n mathscr{C}, mathrm{can})$ is $n$-connected.

Signature plays an important role in geometry and topology. In the space with singularity, Goresky and MacPherson extend the signatures to oriented pseudomanifolds with only even codimensional stratums by using generalized Poincare duality of interse ction homology. After that Siegel extended the signature on Witt spaces. Higson and Xie study the $C^*$- higher signature on Witt space. Followed by the combinatorial framework developed by Higson and Roe, this paper construct the $C^*$-signature on non Witt space with noncommutative geometric methods. In conical singular case, we compare analytical signature of smooth stratified non Witt space by Albin, Leichtnam, Mazzeo and Piazza.

In this paper, it is explained that a topological invariant for 3-manifold $M$ with $b_1(M)=1$ can be constructed by applying Fukayas Morse homotopy theoretic approach for Chern--Simons perturbation theory to a local system on $M$ of rational functio ns associated to the free abelian covering of $M$. Our invariant takes values in Garoufalidis--Rozanskys space of Jacobi diagrams whose edges are colored by rational functions. It is expected that our invariant gives a lot of nontrivial finite type invariants of 3-manifolds.
